Yes, OP, you are on the wrong site. People on this site have a choice how they wish to interact with others and what photos they wish to share, if any. I don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry to know what I look like, and I do not share my face pic until I'm ready to meet the person I've been chatting with. The same goes, for example, regarding chatting on the phone, that some people on here require to prove the person is who they say they are. I do not give away my number, I can't be arsed to get a Fab only phone, and I hate talking on the phone. I am, obviously, very fake for both of the above reasons (no face pic and no phone calls)

Any profile that asks for face pic on first message strikes me as a potential catfish so would steer well clear.

Whether someone chooses to share face pics or not is entirely up to them. We don’t, even in our friends gallery.

The only people who know what we look like are people we have met at clubs. And will be keeping it that way.

Everyone has a choice, but as a couple, you tend to get lots of messages. A face pic with the message generally puts you at the top of the list, but there has to be an attraction. This goes both ways!

It's a sex site. you're supposed to have sex with people you find attracted too.

I can see both sides of the argument,however for us swapping face pics is a must fairly early on as fickle as it may sound we need a physical attraction,so if uts not there from either side why waste time chatting! We only send & expect in return a face pic that's from our FB page - that way if the worst was to happen there's no drama as it's just a harmless pic lifted from our FB profile, must add we're only willing to swap friends pics with genuine couples who have veris & who we're attracted to & random friends requests are treated as catfishing & binned x

Quite early on when we first joined Fab we chatted to this couple who were so lovely. So much in common and great chat. After days of chatting and messages exchanged, we swapped face pics and it just wasn’t going to happen sexually. It was really disappointing.

At the end of the day, most of us are here to meet and have sex. We personally have enough “vanilla” friends and no time for anymore so it’s become our way of operating to ask for face pics within the first couple of messages.

It’s not Blind Date and we are not here to waste anyone’s time and most importantly ours. Face is more important than body in our books so we if people say “let’s talk for a bit first” we tend to just politely wish them luck and say goodbye.

as for face pics on profiles ive seen some very very messed upp peole on here and other sites play silly / dangerous games with peoples face pics ..

so i have a rule you message me first then you send face and body pic first if i message you then i send first and yes i do message first ...had a few guys get pissy when they send picsa and i say no thanks but they still expect me to send my pic even tho im not interested in meeting them

I state that in my profile as I don't wish to waste anyone's time.

I think the OP was having a dig at profiles who insist on face pics being supplied in the first message while not having any of their own available.

Ultimately it is at the individual’s discretion and you can choose to ignore those profiles if you so wish. 😊
