Air BnB advice

Birmingham

Hey everyone. I'm considering booking an air BnB in Birmingham for a get together for around 6 couples and a couple of single guys. For those who have already done this, how do you go about it? Do you tell them what you'll be using the property for or just say you'll be having a little get together with friends? Or say nothing at all? I'm just not sure if many people would be happy about a bunch of people getting it on in their property. Any advice appreciated ❤️

Check their terms first. They might not allow any gatherings of guests not on the booking. If there's alcohol involved and potential for damage to happen, remember you'll be liable for all of that.

Don't think I'd tell them what you are doing but the hosts normally have rules around people having parties so you might want to check that out. And some hosts live in the same street or apartment block or have ring doorbells so they can monitor people coming and going.

I didn't think about ring doorbells (even though I have one!). I think I'll need to find one that's ok with small gatherings. Thanks for the advice.

Hey there's shop near bull ring markets call spar. Apartment next to the shop just book it and take people of your choice as they will give you apartment password but I'm not sure about noise if someone is really noisy and neighbors get Disturbed.

Good luck x

Thank you. Did you book in Birmingham? And did people behave themselves? As in not break or steal anything?

AirBnB apartments normally have rules about visitors after a certain time in evening and morning.

Houses that are setup like holiday homes can be less restrictive but don’t tend to be in city centres.

You will find some houses/listings that advertise themselves for gatherings etc.

I know someone that runs a cleaning business for holiday homes, she knows when parties have been, you’d be amazed at the amount of times dildos get left behind in the dishwasher 🤣
