How many good friends do you have? Are you good/bad at keeping in contact? I personally don't have many friends that I can call on for anything, trust has been an issue for me in the past. How many close friends are in your circle?

Thousands of people i know and know of me but I'm not that bothered about.

Hundreds that I would stop and say hello to.

About 20 that I know would be there if I needed. (Ex army, plenty of tools but plenty of good lads)

2 that I could 100% fully trust.

I have one really good friend. I have lots of acquaintances and people I’ll check in with and say hi but real good friend… I’m more of a quality over quantity type person

The number of genuine good friends I have has dwindled down over the years, but I prefer quality over quantity. There are people I'm friendly with/acquaintances but I don't consider them genuinely good friends.

I’d count 5 people as close friends. But only one of them I’d call a close confidant. We’ve been mates since we were 14.

On top of that I’d say another 10 people close enough to stay at my home, and one more I am desperately in love with and hope something comes of it!!!

I know a lot of people, from different friend groups and different times of my life.

But I did lose friends after my motorbike accident, you really find out whose a true friends when you're in a bad situation and when you really need them, but on the flip side after my accident people that I did class as friends or close friends stepped up, I also found new friends because or after my accident, same when I was dumped by my ex totally her fault and she did it in a devious way, but played the victim or it was a joint decision to our mutual friends, lucky some of them had my back and some didn't take sides and they're still friends with us both, we just don't talk about her and I don't have any contact with her, even though I did try to reach out to her a few weeks ago and was blocked on all social media.

So these days I still communicate with a lot of my old friends, but very rarely see in person, I think that I have around 10 friends I see fairly often if life isn't getting in the way, but it's those friends I know that if something happens or I truly need help, I can count on them and likewise they can count on me.

I have 2 absurdly close and fine mates, I'd trust them with my life, but not as character witnesses, couple of dozen reasonable acquaintances and that's about it, suits me down to the ground as between us we cover a multitude of different outlooks and lifestyles, quality not quantity.

It's a hard one. I have pretty savage ADHD which doesn't help but I've been shafted that many times by "mates" I just stopped trying to please everyone.

I don't have close friends and I've come to terms with it. It's just less stressful for me to be by myself.
