Why do people put down they can accommodate when actually they can't.

I appreciate hotel meet for first time, just in case there's no connection.

But this happens time & time again.

I clearly state in my bio I can't, not that many people bother to read it.

Don't get me wrong. Fwb I've known for a while do get invited, but it's very rare I have a free house.

Often a partner/married. You get talking more perhaps if you can accommodate with no partner assumed. Then once in conversation you can't accommodate for various reasons which by that point seem reasonable.

I know of a married got here who successfully meets with this approach. Not actually being able to accommodate whilst saying he can has never been an issue.

A lot of it is to do with filters. If you’re looking for a guy most know that women will want someone who can accom so they list that they can and hope they can work around it if meets are arranged.

Exactly. I meet with the hope it will be regular, so like you say it gets expensive with hotels. Unfortunately my daughter's work from home so I've not much choice 🙄

Dear OP, I have stated in my profile that I "Can Accommodate", and which I do...in hotels.

'Accommodate' doesn't necessarily mean in one's abode or living quarters.

Personally, I always accommodate in hotels. AirB&B™ is also an option or anywhere similar, but never in my house.

We can accommodate, profile states that.

No kids and no dramas but we may choose to meet somewhere else for the first time.

We really only let people we know in the house..

Sometimes, that can be on the first night.

It’s a constant thing with us we don’t do hotels and like to meet for a social first to see if there’s a connection

Fully agree don’t put can accommodate when clearly you can’t

We can’t accommodate at home but any of our meets would be at a hotel that we arrange but we’ve always loved hotel nights away once a month

Perhaps you should say hotel meets we are uncomfortable with hotels I’m sure there are others who are but at the same time there are those who are happy with hotels

I can accommodate, but only within reason. I'm not going to put anyone up overnight, as night for me is for sleeping, not shagging. And that's one of the reasons I am not interested in anyone coming from miles and miles away.

Correct. So annoying we cant due to kids living with us but when single blokes say or have listed they can accommodate then Get chatting, then Claim they can’t.

To be honest, even if someone did say they could accommodate we would decline.

We both much prefer the mutual ground of a hotel.

It just doesn't feel right to invite someone to our family home.

I can accom but I very rarely do. In my experience people overwhelmingly prefer to meet at theirs, a hotel or a club. I think it is a security thing for many ladies.
