OK.... Your on here and you don't want anyone to know for various reasons, your married, attached, famous. Want to keep your bi side quite or kinks quite. What golden rules do you follow.... Second phone etc only meeting people a 100 miles away etc. Do please share your keep safe ideas. Ps the people that judge please don't comment..... If it's not positive and helpful.

Burner phone definitely. Don't use pictures from other socials. We aren't so fussed with meeting people locally but did avoid one or two profiles of people we worked with before.

Burner phone. Never use an image that had been used online with your real name. Never have public face image. Never give surname. Don't park outside their house. Don't invite to yours. Don't meet people in same town. Agree with any meets that you do not say hi if ever spotted in public.

Be wary of what information / pictures of yourself your putting out there. Never give out your phone number and visit a social event to build connections if you are worried about meeting alone. There is probably more but right now that's it

Yes. We call it our 'fab phone', we have it on PAYG so if anyone becomes troublesome we can throw the SIM away and get a new one. It also means that your main phone number is protected.

I've never had a meet and not something I'm particularly looking to change.

However, would never send face pic or post pictures with identifiable information in it i.e. background etc. Wouldn't need a burner phone as could do all messaging over Fab website.

I’ve bumped into people from our own suburb at swingers clubs and it’s no issue/problem, so we wouldn’t travel juts to avoid seeing someone we might know. What’s the worst that can happen? You both have a secret you don’t want out there. It’s not like if you met in the street or sainsburys you’d be talking about. It’s a whole thing really, depends on how comfortable each person is with their adult life.

Someone asked me to tribute one of their pics on here, when I said you can't screen shot she seemed pretty certain others had (slightly concerning) so I'm pretty careful about sharing pictures and divulging too much personal information

You definitely can screen shot it's a website not snap so don't share it unless you are happy for it to get out, there are lots of pic hunters on fab now unfortunately xxx

I wouldn't say it's a secret for me. Some of my friends know I'm here. But at the same time I don't shout it from the roof tops. I do like it that it's my place to go and talk and have fun with people outside my normal social circle . There's less judgment within fab and that's fair refreshing to be honest.

For those considering a second phone can I suggest dual sim phones.

My iPhone has slot for sim and an option to add ESIM. You can get those from the likes of Lyca, we use that number for web sign ups, clubs etc that are related to the lifestyle. Just put £5 on it now and again.

Don’t have to have two devices and it’s clear when called or text where the number is coming from. Unfortunately on iPhone WhatsApp can’t have two numbers but things like Telegram can.

Also if you choose ESIM from a different provider can use the data if your normal provider is out of signal.

As for rest of life, we very rarely play at local clubs preferring to travel further afield.

If we were to meet someone we knew on the scene from our vanilla life it would probably change the vibe of our night out. Wouldn’t be worried about being outed as they were in same place, just not sure we would want to be our exhibitionist self.

Not even sure of the logic on that as we play in front of people we know who we met on the scene 🤷‍♂️

I do this with my Android (Samsung) phone. Two SIM cards so two numbers, and Samsung software let's you run two copies of apps like WhatsApp side by side.

I used to indulge people who came up with such nonsense in the past because I was really into them- as in not meeting in public, never contacting on whatsapp/phone outside certain hours, walking behind them when in public going to the hotel room (yes, I stooped that low- no worries, I feel sick for both you and me!) 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🤦🏻‍♀️

But I am never doing anything like that again. If people want to be “discreet”, they can be with other people but I am not entertaining any of that shizz anymore. If I can’t be seen in public with them, then they can’t fuck me in private.

I had a burner phone for a few years but now with telegram I no longer need that, so no numbers are exchanged.

I'm not on social media.

I don't sync contacts on telegram or add anyone to my contacts.

I never take pics where my home can be seen in the background. I never show my hair or distinguishable features. I never use my real name. I never accommodate, anyone I ever thought about hosting has turned into a reason why I don't. It's my home.

I'm not remotely important, married or interesting but there's nothing queer as folk and unfortunately experience has shown me to be extremely cautious with everyone.

I never share face pics.

It sounds like a lot but it's just normal for me now.

- We’ve been swinging 6 years and never shared our numbers. We’ve had plenty of meets and this has never been an issue.

From a phone number it’s too easy to get folks social media accounts and that doesn’t work for us privacy wise.

- Our public photos don’t have our faces in.

- We don’t meet folk closer than 5 miles to us.

- We don’t tell friends we swing.

That’s about it.
