verified without my knowledge

A while back someone who I thought was a friend, asked me to hold a piece of paper, I didn't know about this site, so didn't understand what was written on it. whilst he took a pic of "just the paper", and he would crop me out as I said I don't like my picture being taken.

I've since found out he is on here, and may have made a fake profile using me. but verified me with that paper i was holding , as women were coming up to me and talking to me as if they knew me, and I couldn't understand why... so, I joined here and sent out my pic, and got back replies asking was I sure that was me!

Any one else had this happen?

Read what I said.. he said he would crop me out of the picture as he "just needed a pic of the paper! obviously he didn't and my face was in it!
