Why do some people feel the need to be abusive?

A simple, polite message was sent, a message was received simply asking 'M or F' and when Mr X confirmed it was him a torrent of abuse was unleashed!

Unbelievable. They clearly are sooooo smoking hot that they're a walking Lynx advert and can barely move two feet without someone trying to rip their clothes off. The poor things.

Manners cost nothing, how hard is it to say a simple 'no thank you' and move on? Thankfully they blocked us, saved me the trouble of having to do it myself!

Rant over, how's your evening?

Well I for one think its disgusting that the male half of a couples profile is sending message. I mean, the cheek of your bloke using his own profile to send messages. People like you sicken me

As a single guy who's been on here for a while, I've had my fair share of rejection. At least I think I have as the number of "no thank you" messages I've received I could count on one hand.

It would appear manners are pretty rare around here.

Forget it and move on.

Actually, what annoys me more are the people who reply to initial contact, or have contacted me, then you go through a rapid exchange of messages with assurances that they want to meet up, and then later, when you send another message to push things along a bit, they are deleted with no replies any more. Oh well!

I don't think anyone has suggested that it was anything to do with it being a male or rejection. As the title says, it's about lack of manners. I just provided another example of the lack of manners.

Well, i get between 75-100 msges per day from females asking me to drop everything and meet them there and then! I'm afraid i just don't have the time to answer every one back and hope they realise that a deleted msg is just the same as a knockback!

I find it astounding that so many people seem to think that just because this is a swingers site, there's no need for the niceties.

I would much rather spend time with a person/couple who are polite, interesting and fun than someone who thinks they are ridiculously sexy/good in bed but has no people skills.

Those are the kind of people I find attractive!

Also, I should point out that I'm assuming they are, having blocked us I have no way to look at their profile and see! They may have faces that have had a run in with the back of a spade for all I know

Completely agree. Whether the person you messaged was into meeting couples or not, there is no excuse for abuse. A polite thanks but no thanks will suffice. Good on you for reporting him or her

Its simple to forget .....once or twice,butwhen it happens so much that you form an opinion on the stuck up hollywood wannabees, it does get a little ridiculous. Lets face it....how does a huge library of the fem in every colour underwear, in the same bloody poses stimulate any interest?? We get bored by the 10th shot!! What does this say?? Certainly not..."We are fun to play with"....nor "We are nice people" in fact, quite the opposite!

Single guys get it all the time, I know some are arseholes ,,,but don't tar us all with the sticky brush girls ffsk

Block them too. If you go to your block list you can type their profile name in and block them. Otherwise they can unblock you and sneakily look at your profile if they want. But if you block them they can't.

In my experience in cases like that it's just some bloke wanting to talk dirty to the female.

The thing is everyone has different perseptions of what's rude and what's good manners.. So everyone will do or say something that will upset someone else.

A big example on here is people who say "I always reply with no thanks unless its this or that such as not reading my profile properly then I just delete and block" - the person who sent that message properly sent it without any notion they were doing anything wrong and then think of you as rude. Exactly how most scenarios are played out, one side finds the action rude and the other doesn't. Cos everybody will be viewed as rude by somebody
