This is a question for real couples - what percentage of couples profiles are fakes ?—- we’ve had a few definitely but wonder how widespread it is ?—- any tips on ing out the fakes ? - but that’s probably not a fair question as the fakes will read the tips lol !!!!

The easiest way to tell is photo verification I think. There is no reason for a couple not to be photo verified and a very obvious one for why they are not.

some photo verified are tho well we think so we offer to do a quick video call so we can all have a little chat we send our number to the couple and they can call us but turn off their caller id . Most genuine couples that are genuine about meeting are ok with it Peter & Aimee

I guarantee one they can't get out of. If they look remotely interesting to you,& messages are progressing, ask them for a number to ring & tell them if you don't speak to both of the cpl they will be reported as fakes and blocked. That's what I do on here and my husband does on the cpls profile. Xx best of luck. It works every time. Trust me.

Yeah that’s what I do. Ask for a pic of one hand holding the finger of the other or some such. Innocent pic that’s easy to accomplish if you really are a couple. Otherwise it’s just someone showing pics they probably aren’t entitled to!!"
yeah a picture like that would also work we just prefer a chat you can get more of a feel for people with a quick chat

Subject appears in forums so often, not being photo verified is not an indication they are fake, as has been commented before.

Certainly I wouldn't give my phone number out or picture, without at least having some kind of reparte.

Guys pretending to be couples, may have been once and photo verified. It is up to you to make that determination, if in doubt block and move on.

People like to blame their lack of success on "Fake Profiles" because it is easier. They are easy to spot Block and move on

Where I live new profiles pop up each week mainly weekends the profile name always consist of 2 letters 2numbers ie ff66 no pics what the point is have no idea

There's alot. If they aren't verified with no genuine meets, they are fake/not interested in moving further.

You can easily beat the hold a sign verification system so next step is assess the verification, see the credibility of the person leaving the verification to know if they are genuine or not!

This pops up every now and again.

Why is it always couples that are "fake?" There's "fake" accounts of both sexes and couples on here.

The common moan seems because the male half runs the account and they don't get to speak to the female often - if it was the other way around, would that still be an issue?....

Both of us go on the account. We've been called fake in the past purely because we weren't verified, or we weren't "meet verified" enough, or because at one stage we had more pictures of me than him. But haters gonna hate, you do you.

How do you actually know if someone you've decided is fake is fake?

I've definitely decided from the way someone writes that I am definitely not being contacted by the Mrs, however much they claim that to be the case. But I write that off as a whatever is going on I'm just not feeling it, rather than blaming it on fakes when I have no actual idea of who was typing to me.

I don't give alternative contact details to random people so they can have their evidence video call or whatever if I'm not already interested in taking it further. So I've been called a fake many times. Despite the wealth of photos and in person verifications from various socials and club visits 💜

. It’s not likely for a single guy to have a fake account it’s difficult enough for them . I think what happens a lot with couples is it starts off a genuine account then the female half ends up walking away from it but hubby decides to still stay on the group we would never call anyone a fake couple but there’s been a few contact us that something was definitely not right. I think you are right tho majority of time it’s me Peter that’s posts on the forums but any messages get opened when we’re together and we both reply if it’s a female that’s doing the writing then Aimee will reply

Found fake profiles of both genders and couples, time wasters and pic collectors so we don't meet from Fab anymore at all. We don't send face pics, we refuse to jump through hoops to prove who we are just to be blocked as soon as its done (as though our veris arent enough?!) so we only go to clubs now, we like fab as social media for swinging and to keep in touch with people we meet at clubs and let them know when we're going again.

We dont use this as a dating site but as somewhere to see nice pics and have good conversation

It's impossible to fake who you are at a club

i mrs tend to spend more time on fab than mr, it's up to the individual if they want to chat with me or not ,I won't lose sleep over being called a fake

Approximately 80-90% are not as they may seem.

Tip - It you go to clubs there will be genuine swinging couples there. There's no filters as in some photos and you get to sense a vibe that you can't off a profile.

From our experience it's got to be about 60% might just be our area lol

But when we usually try and arrange a chat with us all there the Mrs gets sick 🤣 plenty of genuine couples on fab you just need to have patience looking for them xxx

That's true, but there's quite a number of profiles (us included) who can't get to clubs due to work/childcare or other commitments or simply may not want to attend a club - some of the "club meets only" crowd we've had brief conversations with on here seem to be rude/arrogant/full of themselves/cliquey because they go to clubs, and we don't.

Whilst we fully understand meeting in person is better than behind a screen, surely that's what a social meet is there for as well?
