Yes and no. I’m finding a lot more people in the real world are definitely open to bare, it’s rare I would have a encounter and it’s not bare, however I’ve had the snip so it does make it easier on that front.

Ironically it’s the swinging community that are more for safe sex, mainly more because they know the risks etc and thus less likely to play bare.

At the moment we are in a strange stage of freedom, with prep and doxy, it reduces the likelihood of an infection, but this golden age won’t last forever as viruses get more immune to antibiotics.

If you are willing to take the reduced risk and follow good practices, then I think bare can be enjoyed by most. But it is each to their own.

Several sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, HPV, and viral hepatitis can be passed on through oral sex. The risk is less..... but there. Each person has to decide what risk is worth it to them.

Exactly, so much can be transmitted by oral and even hands/fingers and very few understand or are willing to accept this as fact.... We are looking for long term regular friends we can trust, not one off quickies. Always a social meet first. Risk is hence very low for us, yes we have been tested clear and no luck on here since.

It's more irritating when it's not in a profile, but later is then suddenly introduced as a 'must have' by the other couple; which means that we have usually wasted a lot of time and effort. I wouldn't say it's the new norm.... but we have noticed many more people doing so at clubs.

We use condoms for full sex no exceptions but don't use dental dams or condoms for oral and get tested regularly

No I don’t believe it’s becoming more common but then it’s never been as rare as people imagine either.

Too much abuse is received by those who are open about playing bareback so most simply don’t advertise the fact. It’s a bit like an iceberg.

see I'd disagree... its definitely becoming much more common place in clubs.. we often feel we are in the minority, especially when playing with other couples ... we won't go bare with others.. just each other.

It's more or less the norm. I love BB sex and while I'm selective, I've not had protected sex in years. I don't go to clubs anymore but the private house parties I go to majority play bareback. I'm told in clubs that's also the case

Condoms are practical in new meets, And in my view necessary, however if your lucky enough to have an FWB then it’s fabulous to have that freedom safety and feeling of heightened pleasure and confidence

Each to their own but …. for me responsibility care and making sure safe play is paramount

I have to admit, I'm really surprised knowing this. I agree with other comments about personal choice and trusting others. A lady I didn't know I would never presume or desire to go bare.

I much prefer bare and would choose that most times, am tested and I've had the snip and I know and accept the risks, but am also very selective and believe in open conversation about sexual health with anyone am potentially going to have sex with regardless of if we're using condoms or not. I've used condoms and will continue to, but where the situation is right I'd 100% play bare probably like every one else on here whether they admit it on the forum or not.

no we really wouldn't. Bare is something that we only do with each other... plus when we play with others it's normally in group situations... so wouldn't make any sense to do so. When I'm doing lots of gg stuff I'm tested monthly at the minimum xx
