We are staying in Gloucester Saturday 11th January, seeing family.

Wondering where to go for a drink after the family have all buggered off post dinner in the evening.

Please don’t suggest Cheltenham.

We are staying in the city centre and just want to wander somewhere for drinks. Somewhere with a band maybe.

Where are you staying in the centre?

Cafe Rene on Southgate Street is one of Gloucester’s little gems. Always has some sort of music going on there whether it be a band or a DJ.

Had quite a reputation for being a hang out spot for swingers too.

Which is funny as back in the day when it first opened, people were almost embarrassed to go there
