See lots of posts talking about them but looking for a proper definition.

I get that 'no shows' are a perennial problem but who else falls into the category?

For me it’s people who make arrangements then don’t show up or cancel, unconvincingly, at the last minute.

As irritating as it can be to invest time talking to someone who later stops replying, I don’t class that as time wasting.

For us it’s three things

1. People who message you endlessly and push for meetings when it’s obvious we don’t match in our requirements

2. Guys who don’t show up. Then worse still message looking for a meet after a no show!

3 People with empty profiles

People who arrange to meet you then don't show up waste the time it took you to get ready, get there and back and spent waiting.

Anything else is not time wasting in my opinion.

When it comes down to it is anything that involves living and learning from life a waste of time?

Lol there's millions of em on here now

. Some just want chat and keep you hanging on for weeks or months while making excuses why they can't meet even for a quick social. Others are pic collectors or you find they're screwing around behind their partners back. Some can't read or don't realise some interests are purposely not listed for a reason. One couple didn't show to a social recently after we drove for over an hour, another gave us a false address and did it to others. Some claim they can accom on their profile then tell you they can't. Some claim great interest then don't log in for weeks or leave site mid chat. Some post utterly misleading photos, one couples were clearly 20 years or so old and we got the shock of our life when meeting. A couple we met in a club utterly lied to us about their sexualities and what they wanted etc, we didn't find out till invited to theirs a week later (we quickly left of course). The list goes on....
