Pre-internet, through phone chatlines I had a number of late-night/early hours meets with ladies looking for some male company...
....obviously, only talking on the phone for 20 mins to an hour or so meant that neither I nor the women who I went to visit for an hour or two's fun had any real idea of what the other looked like...
....there were a handful of instances when, once I'd arrived either they didn't fancy me, or I them - and it was a case of 'thanks, but no thanks', and I'd just drive home again...
....on one occasion, I made the hour's journey from Milton Keynes up the old A5 to Hinckley, and was quietly let in by the late-30's single mum who'd invited me to visit...
....she wasn't at all unattractive, with a pretty face and tousled blonde hair - but she was somewhat larger (24 top half, 20 bottom half, she later told me) than my 'usual' preference...
....likewise, at 6'0" tall but slim at only just over 10-stone, I wasn't, she openly admitted, her 'usual' preferred short, stocky, rugby-player type either...
....we got along well having a chat and a laugh though, until, after an hour or so, I suggested that as we were neither each other's 'types', it was probably time for me to leave - at which she asked me to stay, and one thing quickly led to another...
....and over the next six months or so, I made late-night trips up to Hinckley every 7-10 days, arriving after her two school-age kids had gone to bed, and quietly departing before they got up in the mornings (apart from once, when M had to 'hide' me!)...
....despite both us of acknowledging that, if we'd simply seen each other in a bar, or club, or the like, we probably wouldn't have given the other a second look, somehow, on a purely sexual level, we hit it off - though things eventually ran their course, with first her and then I each meeting someone else, we stayed in touch for a while...
....and soon after I told her I was getting re-married, she came down to MK to visit me for the one and only time - for, as she succinctly phrased it, "one last ride"!  |
