However nowadays I suspect most girls and women wear them as a fashion item rather than to signify sexual availability. It's more likely to have a sexual meaning if it is decorated with certain symbols/letters. Mrs NC has plain ones as well as ones with hearts and 'HW' which she always wears on the right ankle | |||
