We don't have any face pictures public displayed but don't mind sharing them if requested. We usually send one with the first message anyway.

Does anyone else find it rude when people ask for a face picture whilst not sending one themselves. We're finding the more common on fab personally. We were just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

I think asking for one without sending one yourself first is unlikely to see you get one back, unless the dynamic is towards a single male.

Unless the profile states they aren't interested in face pictures then it makes sense to send one if there isn't one on your profile, and you want to talk about meeting!!

It annoys me when a profile with 1 generic pic, asks me for a face pic, yes.

I always think if you want to see someones face, you should chat a while and if you initiated it, send yours first.

While I totally 'get' that people want to see who you are pretty soon after contact (either way), personally I'm certainly not very keen to simply send face pictures to profiles that say they won't reply at all (unless you include one from the get-go) or those that have no pictures at all.

I KNOW it must be a total numbers game for Couples and single Females on here (so you get inundated by Guys and can be ultra choosy), but what's the point of having a profile at all, if it, having taken the trouble to write to someone, it counts for nothing (i.e. they can't even be bothered to check what you've written, to at least get a 'feel' for who you are and if you might be a good 'fit' first)? Is that too much to ask?

Maybe it depends on what you are looking for and, obviously, looks are the "be-all and end-all" to some, but if you are going to spend any time with someone new, it's certainly not the only thing that matters.

I've (obviously!) no idea of how many fake profiles exist here, but sending identifiable images to all and sundry at the drop of a hat, seems a tad reckless to me.

Yes actually. I do find it quite rude to ask and not offer. I thought it was just me and I've never said anything. I have a face pic on my profile, my mug isn't the prettiest but it's there.

We don’t mind sharing if feel there is a connection. If we are to ask to see face pics we’d ask and include ours in the request. But we often get asked to send first which usually means nothing is sent in response, or they clearly don’t like us

I've lost out on many a meet because as much as I love this site, I just don't trust it for face pic sharing. The meets that I have had have been super fun because of that unknown factor, and let's face it, if there are fit bodies involved then there's very little chance of things not going right!

I have no public photos on here anymore, I do have them on here privately and do share when it is discussed and agreed by both parties in advance.

No matter how good the conversation is flowing if they suddenly ask for photos and don't offer any themselves then the conversation is left on read and stops right there.

Yes we have seen lots of face pics with first message or we’ll block. Ok won’t message then lol.

Don’t find it rude but if they don’t send one first or have on public we just don’t send.

We don’t have any in public but if we like the chat and are happy we’re happy to send.

If you want something then ask for it. No harm in that. If the other party takes offence, that's on them. But asking for something you won't do yourself shows a lack of character and any connection is doomed anyway. Move on.

We would only share a face picture after messaging for a while and hoping to meet, i get why people send them afyer a short time but privacy is huge for us and we got caught out when on this site years ago with someone we sent a face pic to.

We are happy to sejd one but only when it suits us, it's nothing personal

Nothing worse than a completely blank profile (often "fill in later" but on here for months, who are so demanding about face pictures but don't have any or won't send any themselves. If their immediate message is demanding pictures without attaching ones themselves we just delete and block

We follow the same route of starting a conversation and if someone peeks our interest we will share a face pic. We don’t have any on our public profile so it makes sense.

Do like to see that they are verified first as that’s always a positive sign.

If a single guy wants to fuck lily then we always ask for a face pic on the proviso that they only receive one in return if lily fancies them. Some guys don’t like that but it’s worked ok so far.

This is why we use a few other places where it’s more common for face pics to be on every profile, in fact it’s way way less likely to see anything other than face pics. We find this so much better than seeing endless genitalia as a way to decide where you fancy someone

It's my biggest gripe on here.

Etiquette works both ways... I don't exactly get msgs from woman and couple all the time, but the rules go both ways.

If your sending the first msg, you really shouldn't be asking for a face pic if you haven't sent one.
