"How many of you guys read the bios before making contact? Would like to think our profile is to the point. Nor a dissertation but enough detail and clear in terms of our intent. Just uploaded a video and have already had a dozen winks, friend requests and private messages off people we strictly ask not to contact us (ie men!) We don’t have them blocked as when you do it doesn’t show who’s looking at you and we like to see who’s looking so we can block a stalker who keeps coming back on new profiles. We always read the bios" Tbh I always look for no single men in profiles. Easy to people out then location, and bareback play. Then if they are only looking for black guys rule them out as wel. If they don’t go to clubs, or accommodate them rule them out as well Then realise ah shit I hope there profile photos catch my eye

"How many of you guys read the bios..." I always read the bio. I enjoy reading long narratives — perhaps that's a quirk exclusive to me. Much can be gleaned from a wondrously written profile, good or bad. "...before making contact?" I rarely make contact. They often do though. It's clear that they've read my bio.

We always read the bios" We always have a read of the bio as it says more than pictures do, it's obvious not many people read our before messaging. The cut and paste jobs are the ones we hate the most, although these are normaly always from men just fishing and messaging as many peopme as possible, but's so easy to spot

"How many of you guys read the bios before making contact?" I always read the bio. Yours is pretty clear (I'm not sure how anyone could misinterpret that!) and I'd certainly not contact you, in respect of your wishes. What's the point, I'll just get blocked anyway. The only time I 'might' deviate from a bio request, is if a profile that I consider a good match (so clearly not one like yours - i.e. NO MEN!), insists on me sending a face picture on first contact. Call me over cautious, but I'd rather get something back first. On your 'stalker' point, I think it can feel like that with anyone; I hate that every time you look (even a few minutes apart) it logs as a separate view. Personally, I might want to remind myself of what you said, your interests etc, but it can then look like I'm over fixated. I also might look (as I did here) to see who is behind a forum post - again, more than once over time, particularly if you are an active contributor in these parts.

" The stalker is someone who inboxed us saying our REAL names and then saying how they wanted to do stuff with us BOTH. When asked who it was they got all creepy and were clearly enjoying the power trip. It was verging on intimidating.

" They keep signing back up after we block them so we are forced to keep the setting to allow guys to message us because if we opt not to we can’t see when this weirdo has signed back up and looked at us.

"we are forced to keep the setting to allow guys to message us because if we opt not to we can’t see when this weirdo has signed back up and looked at us. " You could block unverified people and report any previous profiles (explaining your predicament) to the mods maybe. Then he'd at least need a picture of himself (approved by the mods) to actually contact you. I think the only block that physically stops 'looks' from showing is for single men (M). I certainly get, for example, MM and F in my looks, even if I block them. I actually reported that as a 'bug', but you might be able to use it to your advantage re the verified thing (so block unless verified, but allow men).
