I rarely message and generally speaking if I do it's because I really want to engage with the recipient or have interacted on the forum. 75% of messages I send get a reply I'd say.

Quality over quantity.

Ours would be quite high we don’t really message people unless they have really caught our eye but saying that we don’t use the search function either we really don’t utilise the sites full arsenal we do reply to people we would potentially be interested in that message us

In terms of messages received to reply I'd say 1 in a 100 in terms of it leading to a 2nd message (we do send no thank yous that shut initial messages down, so that skews the figures)

In terms of what we send, I think we get a positive reply to 1 out of 4.

My send to reply ratio is quite high but I don’t send that many messages. I generally don’t reach out unless I am pretty sure it is a good fit.

Every message I send is replied to. So a hit rate of 100% applies.

However I rarely send a first message, probably half a dozen this year and a dozen over the last three years.
