Have you ever arranged to meet someone only to find the person who turns up is not what you expected, but you still go ahead with it and end up enjoying it? or would you feel let down and call it off

Ive met a couple where the lady was definitely not comfortable with the situation and made my excuses and left. It is easier to meet on neutral ground first in my experience

I met a woman who was 10 years younger than me, who had sent me what she described as a recent photo. She looked slim and stunning in the photo. I sent her a photo of me that was a few weeks old. When I saw her, she looked like my mother! She was much older than her picture and was overweight. I went through with the meeting, as I had booked a hotel room, and actually the sex was OK. But I felt cheated. Ironically, she said I looked younger in the flesh! We haven't met since though.
