Where are all the swingers?

We are married couple new to this but really looking forward to meeting some like minded people. The last few we've chatted to seem elusive near the stage we're supposed to be meeting. I think we are an attractive couple ready for fun but wonder why it's quite difficult. I think I need to bite the bullet and go to a club. Beer has been to them before..I am nervous for my first time.

We tend to find them at clubs/events (obviously) and quite often just out in town or on holiday (even some that didn't know they were swingers till they met us ). We've found not such online. But we prefer real world interaction from the start. But then everyone does it different.

You are not far from some great clubs assuming Burton on Trent? You literally have your pick of some of the best clubs in the country within an hours drive.

You’ll meet lots of likeminded people there.

I found it much easier as a single than we do on here as a couple. It’s darn near impossible to find other genuine couples who are looking for the same thing! It’s infuriating sometimes

just imagine starting out 30++ years ago we got lucky as we went to a dogging spot where we found quite a few couples the nearest club back then was west midlands we became very good friends and got took under their wings so we had a easy intro lots of private invite parties and dogging with a odd vist to that club in the west midlands ...

the obvious thing is there not as many couples /women who swing as theirs made out to be swingers are very much a minority scene theres those that just talk (alot of them) there those who play not very often once every few months some once a year or less and then theres a core who really do live the lifestyle ..

so if your new you do tend to struggle until you get to know other couples mainly and even then it can still be hard as you can tell by the increase of couples saying so ... i think there are less couples on the scene now than i can ever remember alot of clubs are seeing footfall downnot all as some are what i call super clubs that seems to always do well ...

best way to do this scene is not to put all tour eggs in one basket understand that alot have gone back to private parties that are invite only so that makes things harder so clubs can be where you meet others who know the private scene but not a guarantee also remember couples meeting couples is a 4 way attraction so thats harder ...the scene is a selection rejection scene most people wont be compactable with each other alot think swinging is easy its really not its not free sex for all ...

make as many face to face friends as possible get to know the scene then as you go along youll find it gets easier but also grow thick skin for those who like to bitch/abuse

Me an my partner have been to a club quite a few time ourselves, we've not played together with others yet.. we sorta go off an see what we get up too.. or enjoy each other an the atmosphere x
