It seems like back in the day it was very common for lads on nights out or stag do’s to get strippers etc then it become more about getting joke or ‘Roly poly’ types but it doesn’t seem as common nowadays? I ask cause I’d love to be the entertainment for a group of lads even if it was a joke, being made to lick their asses, let them piss on me, have them use me. That was the beauty of pre social media. Strippers and lewd behaviour was practiced a lot in the past and very rarely went beyond the night. A few times in a hired room above a pub and Strippers booked. Usually extras available if wanted. Not saying it was right but it happened.

Back in my youth, I’ve certainly been to many strip clubs on stag, but in all honesty we never enjoyed it, more of a ritual. Never a fan of strip clubs as you just get horny and can’t do anything about it, so end up going to some dodgy brothel afterwards.

Two stags were amazing though, first was Amsterdam, where we went to a few sex shows, met a group of ladies on a hen do, and spent the weekend with them, plenty of opportunities to relieve that frustration.

The second we went to Germany and visited a place called pasha in cologne. That was an experience, not one I’d repeat but was certainly enjoyable.

When I was younger I enjoyed strip clubs one for the girls but 2 also the last place to close open til 4-5 but as the years have gone by it's just turned even more of a seedy dump maybe due to the prices of getting in or drinks or a dance or the class of girl they are getting in( maybe just the ones round me) always the same sorts either stunning looking but don't know a word of English or rough as toast chav slags

The typical mid 20s crowd seems to have moved away from them, leaving a smaller, older group of regulars. They're having fewer bookings for private events like stag do's and birthdays.

I don't know if it's down to a shift in how objectifying women isn't as acceptable anymore or the risk of being filmed. Funnily, male strippers at hen dos are just as popular as ever.

Its a "tradition" that has pretty much died off -mainly for one - obvious when you think about it - reason...

Almost all of us carry our own TV stations in our pockets now able to take pictures, film videos and send these images anywhere in the world at the touch of a button to as many people as we like, or perhaps way more than we may intend!

So the days of "what goes on tour stays on tour" are locked firmly in the past and people are a little more "reserved" in their stag do or hen party "activities".

I had my stag do actually after the wedding due to covid/travel restrictions etc and ended up in Benidorm of all places.

Can confirm that a stripper was not even on the mind, thankfully the set of mates I went with all have morals and whilst it may sound "lads lads lads" the implications of everything these days with social media, instant messaging etc means it's almost a recipie for disaster.

Closest anyone got to a "stripper" was Sticky Vicky then a star wars sex show which was a very odd and quite sobering experience.

I've been on a few occasions in my youth because that's what my mates were doing. I respect the work strippers do but personally never been a huge fan of strip clubs. Probably because I've just never seen them as a good use of my money and not massively into women pretending to be intrested in me for my cash. And it's not like its the only place I can see or be with a naked woman. I much preferred to concentrate my efforts to meeting normal women and taking them home. So normally I'd just have a couple of massively overpriced beers while my mates spent their money like it was going out of fashion.

However I did have a lovely experience with a stripper once. She come sat next to me and struck up a conversation. She was lovely and conversation flowed lovely. I told her frankly from the start I won't go off for a private dance as I didn't want to waste her time. She said she was just enjoying the conversation and company. It was effortless and she was telling me all about the youth work. A couple of times I stopped her and said don't you want to get back to work because seriously you won't get any money from me. Anyway we had a lovely time and a few laughs for about 40mins. I felt a bit guilty because she was not earning talking to me but she was really sweet and said she wasn't bothered by that, just enjoying talking to me. It was nice to be in a strip club and have a lovely conversation with a wonderful soul who was just happy with my company over the money she could be making. Plus she was really young (to be fair I was too but with an old head on my shoulders) and by that point I'd sort of freinds zoned her so it would have also felt a bit wrong having a private dance anyways.

Also I went to the White Horse in High Wycombe many years ago. The only time I've been to a £1 in the pint glass strip pub. I really enjoyed that to be fair. I was a pub, normal price for a pint, fun rowdy atmosphere and strippers for a quid. I liked that but that's probably not really what people mean when they talk about a strip club.
