Actually irritates me how many people have a block on over 60’s so you can’t even message…..

I’m 59 and it seems that many people put blocks on - 55 seems to be the popular age to apply the cut-off…..

Such a shame when I would like to think I have so much to offer/give.

I always say ‘I’m 59 - I’m not dead !! 😀😀’ and love meeting couples in my age group and above……

I’m sure others feel the same and share my frustrations…..

P.S. I am slightly guilty in that I have a young age cut-off on my profile …….🫣

It's weird being in your 60s and suddenly becoming seemingly invisible (and not just in these parts!).

Why was I not warned this would happen???

It's also VERY odd still feeling and acting like you are 35, yet looking significantly older in the mirror.

The other day, I tried to write to someone on here (in their 50s) simply to complement them on the honesty in their profile (I loved it). They had blocked anyone over 60 (the top end of their age range). That was a bit of a shock to the system, and did make me feel old/excluded!

As much as it is disappointing when I go to message someone and I find I am outside of their age range.

But I don’t worry about it. I just think to myself that is their choice and it is not for me to get an issue about someone else’s choices.

So I just look to chat with someone else. Especially those over 60.

Yes over 60 is a mental block, but be honest about your age and own it.. be proud and love each day... Only wish we discovered swinging in our 30s .. but honesty opens more doors.. one lie locks it and blocks it.. we are not everyone's cup of tea.. so we like coffee ☕ 😁 happy swinging x
