Tied up..

Looking for advice...

My wife recently said she would like to be tied up during sex, her exact terminology was "tied up & fucked hard.

As she's normally the vanilla type I'm wondering how to approach this matter, use handcuffs or normal rope?

There are lots of fluffy lined faux-leather cuffs on eBay. If you buy two pairs (plus some lengths of thin rope) they'll be great for taking turns cuffing eachother by your wrists and ankles to your bed. Let the fun begin.

If your just trying it for the first time use something soft around the house. A tie or dressing gown belt works well, or a pair of tights/leggings that have just been removed

Great advice on simple cuffs and restraints. You can really get the restraint you want and the fun without learning the ropes. There is also many soft velcro products on the market. From a fun, ease and safety point of veiw these sorts of restraints are awesome. Also very easy to get hold of.

As for Rope personally I would say stay clear of thin rope. It's cuts into the skin too sharp and knots can tighten and be very hard to undo. Thicker rope is better and a sharp pair of scissors handy that will cut through with ease. Also if you are going to use rope find out what your doing and practice first. The basics are not some dark art but you do need to know what you're doing. There are lots of resources on the Internet or maybe reach out to the community. There are a couple of simple elementary ties and knots to know that will allow you to have fun but stay safe.

True that. I mentioned the thin rope (eg 6mm dia) as it's good in shortish lengths for tying between the eyelets on the cuffs and your bed frame.

Proper handcuffs can be very uncomfortable. The velcro wrist cuffs are probably a good start, you use ordinary rope to then tie these to the bedposts. (Incidentally have you noticed how hotels never have beds with any useful tie points? They probably learned that the hard way). Tie her arms a good distance apart so she cannot release one cuff by reaching it with the other hand. This will probably be enough if it’s her first time. If you want to go further you can tie her legs (not together!) and add a blindfold.

She should find it comforting as its warm and comfortable as it's wide and smooth and hugely personal and significant as you wear it everyday.. It'll also have sexy memories for you when you are wearing it.

Then try different items to find her like/dislikes

Have a sharp pair of scissors to hand on case knots become too tight.. Be careful of injuries xx

Find out if she has been reading any books recently that mention this. She may have got the idea from them. You could find out what they used and how they used it.

Last time hubby tied me up we used his ties. They are silky and soft and have a good length.

I have memories of my husband taking his belt off and ordering me to hold my hands behind my back. He then looped it round them and pulled it tight. Next thing I knew he had pushed me down and he fucked me so hard. Ahhh good times x
