Any of you into wild swimming? Went for lots of dips in the Lake District this week. Love a nice dip if no one is around

It is but not in this country. There is also a fish (So QI said a few years ago) that swims up the urine stream, enters the penis and is barbed so it cannot be pulled out. That is one big ouch!!

Yes us (as a couple of our profile pictures suggest). It's one of our favourite activities.

North West.

Our local pond is Windermere. We used to pond swim lots, not so much recently. Life has become a bit too busy.

I can’t wait for spring to enjoy some wild swimming! Any recommendations for quiet spots around Cambridge?

Sparkford

From my social media it draws middle aged women in like kids to Minecraft.

Hate cold water on my back, balls and nipples so it's a no from me. Be careful out there as my ex recently lost someone close to her who got in difficulty sea swimming.

They wouldn't find it in these temperatures

Very true. I like to swim naked (being careful that no one else is around). When I had a look down I was a bit taken aback… 😕

Sounds lovely. There is a lido in Bristol but it’s very posh and a huge waiting list to become a member.
