I’ve got lymphoedema from cancer surgery too. Shaving is a no go around my scars so I use cream.

I remember being told off by the consultant for using razors. He said it could put me in hospital with cellulitis if I cut myself.

It’s to do with getting an infection. You are more susceptible when you have lymphoedema.

I've had my nethers lazered (at a salon with a professional grade lazer, not the handheld at-home machine). 8 sessions 4 weeks apart each one and I'm now 95% fuzz free and love being smooth without the maintenance Had mine done 2 years ago and still smooth.

"Used “no hair crew” cream, bought online, left on for 8mins. Turned out a treat "

I've previously used veet and it felt like an acid attack which left light burns for a few days (I have very sensitive skin) so I've spent many years avoiding removal creams, but I've seen this "no hair crew" being recommended a few times and since shaving always gives me a very sore rash I figured I'd give it a go. When it arrived I thought I would be sensible (for a change) and do a test patch first and figured it was best to do this on the most sensitive area, I cautiously left it on for 6 mins and I was genuinely impressed with it, absolutely no strong odour (unlike veet) and it worked a treat, left it a few days just make sure I didn't get any delayed affects then took the plunge and finished the job.

I don't think I will ever shave again "no hair crew" is bloody amazing.

I’ve tried the creams in the past …. mainly on my legs, but it smells awful, and you have to time it right!!

My go to is always shaving and use a Gillette Venus to keep myself deliciously smooth …. all over! … not just ‘my bits’ 😉. I tend to shave down there every couple of days … takes a minute extra in the shower.

I love being hair free … feels wonderful.
