And here you have what is now the greatest detriment to the swinging world. An element that has always been there, but sadly now the biggest factor for many. I know it’s a case that not everyone finds someone attractive and we all have our personal tastes; but it seems now there’s a lot of egotistical people for which the trophy glam people are what it’s all about. The thrill of sex with a new and different person who has a nice personality and is good company general is now largely overlooked in the main and it’s all about the appearance etc. Yes, there are those that don’t appeal at all or are not too fastidious etc and there’s always got to be a balance, but people are seriously missing out on some good times as a result of being pretentious at times. This element was quite rare once but now it is the normal state of affairs. Back in 2003 the whole thing was very different and a lot more active and fun. Swinging has sadly followed the general trend in society of the, shall we say ‘Hollywood Culture” and unless you’re pandering to it, you’re a bit of an outsider. I’m just glad we started a good while back when things were far more fun and people more open to meeting based mainly on personality and real sexiness rather than current way a lot behave.
