Just wondering if other females run thier couples account or is it mostly men? I run ours and it's always me that is messaging and posting on forums etc. My husband has full access and dips in and out of our account, he occasionally let's me know if someone isn't his type but I'm rarely wrong. He's just not into messaging and all the admin, it's just not his thing. Another ladies run their couples accounts?

There are very few couples accounts as such , there single men pretending to be couples , couples where the female part has no idea she's on fab, or its the male getting kicks of his wife photo getting a fab or similar.

Just look at the usernames..most not thought up by a female.

Hi! Yes, this is pretty much our dynamic too. He likes me showing him what attention we've had too (we're very new). I have more free time. So it just works. I've noticed most profiles are run by males. Maybe we've not been on long enough to find more female or 50/50 run accounts, idk

Definitely mostly men running couples accounts, if they are even real that is lol. We tend to prefer meeting at clubs too, fab is such hard work at the best of times. I genuinely can't be bothered with other men and I'm only interested in ladies so makes sense I run the account really as far as I'm concerned. My husband likes to know what's going on and dips in regularly to keep up with chats, but he isn't really into anything social media like so I do it all.

I'd have to disagree with the notion they're all male led.

My FWB mainly runs ours, deals with mail and photos, and my input is minimal. I may get roped in to replying to messages aimed at just her but aside from that I'm usually logged in on this profile.

Most of my couple friends profiles are either female led or pretty much 50/50. Yes there are those obviously run by men, but they're easy to spot, avoid and not engage with.

Maybe I'm just mixing with a different crowd. 🤷‍♂️

Interesting, most of our couple friends the men run the account. Only a couple where the ladies have much input. I don't have issues with men running accounts as our couple friends are actually a good bunch, but there's always a few men who ruin it for the rest isn't there?. It's like everything in life, there's always some people that ruin things for others and make the good ones look bad.

I run ours. Hubby tried running it and found it hard work, mainly as single ladies (quite rightly) expect to speak to the female half and he kept having to stall things waiting for me to dictate a response.

He originally ran it to try to shield me from some of the absolute dross we get and some messages that should lead to internet access being denied….

However, I’ve simply put my metaphorical big girl pants on and deal with the messages and people as they pop up.

He’s happier (its one less thing to do), I’m happier (I like being in charge

) and the forums come to my rescue when hubby is otherwise engaged.

Winner winner.

Mr generally checks in on ours far more than I do. He has greater access throughout the day. He used to do all the admin but 5 years in and we share it a little bit more now. I check it daily and we discuss posts or messages requiring a joint response. Some messages can be draining so a tag team approach helps us to keep going. It should be fun rather than hard work but sometimes becomes the latter. Mrs SW

I run ours too. When we first started I would say he ran it more. That didn’t last long though as he soon got bored and now he rarely comes on. It’s also me in the forums although it’s rare I go on these days.

We no longer really look for couples so he doesn’t tend to get involved. With the men he leaves it to me to make the decision on who we or I am going to meet. We do socials first so he would meet them then anyway.

I’d definitely say the majority of couples who have messaged us it has been male led.

I've never subscribed to the idea that anyone ruins anything else for others. Men, women or couples.

We're all responsible for ourselves and nothing that anyone else does or says on here reflects on me or impacts me in any way, shape or form.

I tend to do most of the admin/chatting on mine & my partner’s couples profile but that’s because I’m the more chatty one of the two of us and have more free time do so… however, I ALWAYS run things past her when folk do message and get her to jump on and say hi etc. as reassurance for those messaging that there is a woman who uses the profile too.

Most of the interaction I do though is from this profile.

It’s quite refreshing to see there are female led couples on here… from a solo guy perspective, I always get suspicious talking to a couple where it’s mostly the male half that’s reluctant for me to have any communication with his partner.

If I’m talking to a lady who’s part of a couple and there’s any inclination a meet may occur then I do expect to speak to her fella beforehand.

We both run ours, and are often logged in from both our devices.

We come across a lot of guys messaging from couples accounts and can usually suss out whether we're chatting to a male or female pretty quickly - it's usually the male - and can usually tell if the couple are a genuine couple or not just by the way the chat goes.

We don't send face pics until both of us have had a chance to review first and will check for recent pics and veris.

We've found quite a number of couples accounts on here are just the male whose fem is no longer around.

This is interesting, us personally are a split that is 60/40 in terms of Ali being the predominant user. But that's only because of our work/home life commitments. When things get serious, we're more than happy to have a group chat!

We've seen guys mention that the male of the couple will look less favourably on other guys rather than the female would, hence why they get ignored - which is completely not true!

I (Mr) do all of the fabmin on our account, and 80% of the messaging. It works for us as we're only interested in meeting single guys and we've found that as soon guys realise they're talking to Vixen they become pushy, overly sexual/familiar and creepy, which puts her off wanting to meet anyone at all. That and the fact Vixen gets bored of looking at messages quite quickly lol

Doesn't matter who runs it to most, as identifying that involves actual reading….

I think more than half fhe messages i get (having excluded the “hi”, “FAF” cretins) still start with variations of “mate, your wife is fit” etc.

Its funny when I point it out, some men are incredulous I’m allowed in the internet without male supervision

I tends to act as a spam filter. If there's anything of interest I pass to G (F) to continue any possible conversation. It means she isn't bogged down with dross and the excitement is still there for her. So, in a way, I do control it but she has the executive power.
