Do you all go to get a check at the sexual health clinic?

I play safe but still go about every three months just wondered if that's the norm and will the clinic people think I am weird to go so often?

Depends how many partners I've had in any given period ..more than one then yes I might go every 3- 6 months just the one and I've already had a recent check then I wouldn't again until I'd been with some different ..unless I suspected they were jumping around with lots of other men ..which if met from here would I suppose be quite likely lol

They will never think your weird for goin,,,, stis and HIV are on the increase,,, it's good to checked regular,,, I do. But I don't go to the one I work in!!!!!!

As I have only slept with 2 guys in the last 12 mth and one of them I have been sleeping with for 3 years I have been 1 in the last year .

Every month, I used the mobile ones that go round clubs, there 3 clubs within 10 miles from me that have the clinic there so I just tie a trip to the club on the day of the clinic each month, I most often then not use the one at chameleons on a Monday as I go Mondays anyway so just nip into the corner while im there

I go about every 3 months, but they don't think I'm weird because I've told them about my lifestyle. The women who do the testing now recognise me and we usually end up having a chat about clubs etc...think they're both intrigued by it all

Every 3 months without fail... Even practising safe sex there a small risk but also some people forget the oral side can be just as dangerous.. hence regular checks..

One life so be safe!!

Ooo thanks guys reminded me I'm due one Haha... I go every 6month unless I've had a guys condom snap on us or I meet a new partner of which I want want to use anything once results are back x

A lot of people seem to think that so called safe sex really is safe and therefore believe that they don't need check-ups. But they haven't even heard of dental dams and always do oral bare !!!

become a blood downer they can pick up what the others miss well done if all people on here followed your lead the scene would be a lot safer

While I personally feel that dental dams are a bit ott I will also point out that condoms offer zero protection against HPV/warts.

Hence the need for a regular full check up (oral swabs and bloods).

nice to see folks being checked regularly...BUT a caveat from me is.... the way this Government have now handed Public Health to underfunded Local Government from the NHS suggests a ticking time bomb for sexual health services. This means the service will be cut down or be a pay for service....and we all know what happens when services are cur/paid for.... yep... people don't go
