would you recomend this site or a dating site for a recently seperated man thats looking for friends and some fun but without too much commitment.

As long as they ain't holding on to resentment for the woman kind, yes this is a good place for non committal fun. If they aren't looking to commit, stay away from dating sites and wasting peoples time.

I think it depends on how you are feeling, and what your expectations are. Fab can be brutal on single men, and exacerbate feelings of loneliness and self-doubt. However, if you come to this place with your eyes open, your expectations checked at the door, and a positive attitude towards all the people here, then you can make some lovely, undemanding connections and have a good time. I would suggest dipping in a toe, seeing how you get on. Good luck OP. Xx

I have already experienced how brutal some of the people on this site can be and yes it does make you doubt yourself, its tough being back out and alone after 20yrs of marriage. The world has changed .

I would say neither. If you’re looking for friendship try your real friends, or a site designed for meeting friends.

For sex, try this or somewhere aimed at sex.

I wouldn’t blur the two at this stage, where you’re emotionally vulnerable. Keep them separate.

Being in the same boat I'd say I'm finding a better vibe here than I have on Tinder et al but it's all down to what you want, and why...

Sometimes, after a separation or break up it's good to take time out and heal yourself before taking any negative energy to other people.

As such, I'm finding this a more forgiving, nurturing and engaging place to do that (whilst being surrounded by sexy people and chat).
