Work and Fab separate

This is a question especially to anyone that runs their own business. How do you keep the two things separate like when getting to know people during the initial stages?

They ask what you do, you say but if they ask like oh what's the brand? By telling them you give them more than you'd give to a fab meet. I hope this question makes sense.

Think it’s more about what you are willing to share you are well within your right to say that you don’t want to say what you do for work or what brand it is like you said in your post and tbh people don’t really need to know but that is just my option. T

Work is one thing i dislike discussing so i give very vague answers. I have gainful employment and thats all that matters. Lol. Ive seen on a few profiles, ppl even state theyre not willing to discuss their jobs as its irrelevant to why they’re on fab.

I tell them that I don't talk about work at all and keep real life entirely separate in all of it's aspects.

Some people we meet are more secretive than others, but I can't think of a single person that has knowingly tried to push my own boundary.

At the end of the day, your profession is not significant and only a point of conversation, there is always other stuff to talk about if you mutually click with someone.

I'm in that position and its quiet easy. I talk about what I do, explain it all (I get quite excited by it haha) and then if they ask for the company name I just say sorry don't share that. If they continue to push it we'd just walk away but that's never been a problem as other swingers get the privacy.

But our regular friends all know the name of the business, some of them have even been in to my factory to see what I'm doing, one has even come and worked for me for a day to help out.

Our close fab friends, that we play with regularly, all know what we do.

Newbies or strangers at clubs etc. we would never discuss it.

If pushed, Becky has often become dolphin trainer… 😉

I don’t really divulge much at all about my life I very good at having conversations but at end of it if the person actually tries recalling things about me they realise I never actually sad a great deal but still enabled free flowing conversation
