What's your definition of catfished, we've had plenty of guys who have been a decade or more older than they claim. But I don't consider that catfishing, just cheeky

We had once where we went to a house to meet a couple and it was just the husband who claimed his wife had to go out for a family emergency. I still don't know if it was genuine or not as they were well verified

Then yes

But I also think photos don't give the best view of what someone will look like so even those that aren't purposefully misleading have surprised us at times (both ways being better or worse than their photo)

Yes I got catfished last year by a Fabster whose photos turned out to be about 10 years old. They were a lot larger and looks were significantly different from weight gain and age. It was very disappointing Personally I think using old photos that are significantly different to current looks is catfishing

In that that are older than they claim yes but everyone has always been who they the person they say on their profile.

Top tip, it's almost always obvious if you've knocked ten years off.

We met a couple in a club a couple of weeks ago, spoke for a while before…. (Cuck couple) so attraction to him was irrelevant.

They wouldn’t share face photos either, but we thought well her body pics she probably really pretty anyway.and we weren’t to fussed with it being a club wether there was attraction or not just friendship would of been good!.

Anyway, the photos definitely were not her body lol.

And even though I really did try strike conversation and laughter etc, she really was not interested in us lol. I don’t know whether they thought we didn’t have our own pics on here or what but yeah, it was a go and goodbye haha.

Would still do it again though because we still had a good evening regardless ☺️

Oh and just to add they messaged the next day saying they didn’t think we was interested 😂

It’s like this if we clicked and laughed it was still possible lol but they didn’t give it a chance!

Yes I have been catfished many times by a guys height

Generally any guy that says he’s 5’11 tends to be 5’8 or less

I’m a tall gal and in heels over 6ft so it’s a disappointment if they are that much shorter than me

It’s happened loads of times in the past

Plenty of times which is why I have a rule of having a normal video call before I would meet anyone and usually always a social first.

Too many people use filters today on their photo's so you never really know what you are getting

Just been catfished myself. Talking to a girl who knew about the town I was from , local places. Talked about job she had then even went further to tell me she had to be in London as her sisters husband had died after an accident.

I mean I was just messaging as and when , but it all seemed so believable. Photos got sent , even of like photos taking in a cafe or holding food or like at the train station that day.

I only started to get a feeling after requesting a phone call , then it was I am with family or work. Then bam profile gone and all deleted.

It was how in depth the lies were for to never meet or even arrange it

Totally agree with this! Some are more photogenic than others and come out better than they look in real life. Also vice versa, much more appealing in person than in a snapshot (where I fit in, lol)
