When you come across a profile that you haven't messaged and find you're blocked do you ever wondered if they know you and blocked you before you release

Probably because they've blocked single guys, or anyone outside their age bracket. I wouldn't take it personally!

I often pre block people if I’m 100% sure we won’t be compatible and it’s nothing personal.

I find myself pre blocked too, take it as a positive thing, I do.

Yeah there are a couple of profiles that we can't see, that neither of us really know why, but hey, is what it is.

I will actively block a profile if I've seen a forum post I don't like or a status that's not up my street or just because I'm in a bad mood. And yeah come across some where we've been blocked so just guess it's for the same thing, we all have our preferences likes and dislikes

Often block people we’ve never interacted with, could be a silly user name or a ridiculous status.

I've been pre-emptively blocked before. At least they have read my profile and formed an opinion (even if it is a negative one).

I see it as a positive that they were blown away by my profile and couldn't match my expectations, so were protecting me from the disappointment of meeting them 🤣

I don’t even think about it. Just counter block them and then move on.

About 3 feet away from the fence

Not really because it could be just as likely I was the one who blocked them.

If I've not knowingly said/done anything to them personally, then I just see it as a "them" problem & keep it moving..

We assume its for the "woke queer" bit in the profile.

Or because we are fat 😂

The only time we block someone is when they are rude, aggressive or see evidence of bigotry. Other than these tiny minority I think everyone deserves a chance to interact and contact people if they like them, just do it respectfully

I've blocked people who haven't messaged me based on viewing their profile (usually the content or even the name -"pussy smasher" and so on ) OR because of what they have written in the forums

Chances are they may not message me, but it's my choice to block them

Sure it happens to us in reverse.

"When you come across a profile that you haven't messaged and find you're blocked do you ever wondered if they know you and blocked you before you release "

If you are a regular forumite I have seen posts people saying they block people from the forums as they don't like what they post. You can be blocked for many reasons.

As I’m mainly here for the forums I will block if someone is particularly obnoxious. I doubt we would have much in common and prefer to leave them in their own world and views.

I have noticed being blocked by certain people but in my opinion it’s their issue not mine.

I block so many people for so many reasons even if I've never spoken to them (the Mr is worse than me) don't take it personally.

Some reasons I block are -

Too local.

Don't like profile pic.

Don't wanna see them in my updates.

Whiny statuses.

Something on the forums.

Just don't like them.

Gaping arshole/vag/cock profile pic.

Just not compatible.

Mrs

If I see status updates I don't like usually referring to drugs I'll block the profile so I don't forget to give them a wide birth

We block people that simply cannot read our profile; those we find a turn off; those out of our range; those we find offensive and others. Some of it is purely to thin down the interactions that we don't want so we see more of what we do want.

Don't be offended, everyone has their own preferences. We can't stand messages and winks from single guys when it is absolutely clear in our profile they are unwanted. So that is an instant block.

Agree with this one too, any reference to drugs or smoking is instant block too.

Same here, if we get a friend request from a guy without any sort of coms before, insta block. Don't mind guys winking or messaging, no harm in chatting etc, but kinda clear from profile not what we are after.
