I recently posted a pic of me with my top off and got a few messages fat shaming me so i ended up taking it down. Wouldn’t it be better for people to say nothing than say something nasty or is that just an us thing?

sadly it's everywhere online I would try to ignore it, you can't win online I have had messages saying I'm too skinny so either way someone will always have a problem it's no fault of yours

Well that might be the single most uneducated answer I’ve seen on fab. Even if you were correct (which you’re not - let me know if you want the peer reviewed papers to back that up), the very idea that fat shaming is a consequence of someone’s decision is abhorrent.
