Sooooo.... how do you think this would go down?

Thinking of a visit to VA for the first time in many years but the night I am in the area is a bi night, and I am very much straight. I have never attended a bi night before and am not sure what to expect.

Any sensible thoughts?

What would you like to happen? Have you fantasised about the possibility of something you haven't done before?

Not harbouring any fantasies outside of some straight guy action with a lady or a couple or group

just go and enjoy the night and it's up to you to do what you want

Having attended a bi night at a club I would envisage a large proportion of those attending would be single bi guys, with a lower number of couples (probably bi too).

Just go along anyway and if you feel uncomfortable in any way then you have the power to step back, and tweak your expectations of what you might experience.

A bi night might not be the best night to go for this I would think.

I’m a straight guy. I would never consider going to a bi night… it’s called bi night for a reason. If you’re curious about going then I’d imagine you’re bi curious…

Main thing to consider is how are you going to react seeing MM action or being approached by bi guys? If either might be uncomfortable then I suggest it’s fair to the venue and other people you don’t go. If you’re fine with it then cool have a good night.

What's the worst thing that could happen? You see bi people playing -- ooh shock horror! You may even get approached by someone who fancies you. So just say no! Just go and enjoy, it may even open up a whole new world for you.

I did read it. I personally wouldn’t consider going because as others have said, bi night would mean men approaching thinking any man there is bi so for me it would be a waste of time and money going unless you’re actually curious about men. I don’t see any other reason for going if you’re not straight.

Go, and commit to doing one bi deed, whatever it is. Get sucked at a glory hole, or just rub a guy's crotch through his trousers. Test your boundaries. You never know, you might like it.

Bi nights are very inclusive but we personally don't entertain straight single guys at bi nights and neither do a lot of our friends. We see a lot of them trying to get around membership requirements or numbers to try and get their dick wet...they're usually the ones having to be repeatedly told to dress down in play areas or asked to leave couples only areas...

Some do find the very full on male on male play a bit too overwhelming...but it's what we go for

About 3 feet away from the fence

The clue is in the name. If you're uncomfortable with the idea of seeing a lot of same-sex action happening around you, maybe it's not the event for you.

Of course you can still go & you're not obliged to participate in homosexual activities if you don't want to, but bare in mind that most of the people you'll see there, are up for that, even the couples.

I personally would leave it, if you don't have any interest in bi play.

Most people will no specifically because they are looking for action with people of the same sex. They won't be after a straight single male op, they could get that on a normal night at the club.

Look at the positive here; all the couples and single females of Fab looking for a straight guy in that area……WON’T be at the VA that night, so there’s potential for a social or hotel meet if you list one

Absolutely this. Same goes for a white guy considering attending a bmfc event……

I know it’s not exactly the same thing, but I went to a singles dating event (vanilla) and hit it off with this gorgeous woman, it turns out she wasn’t single she just came along to support her mate. Even though we had a fun and flirty night , I felt led on and wasted an evening on the one person in the whole place who wasn’t single. On the back of that experience I’d never go to a bi event as I wouldn’t want to do to someone what was done to me

Personally I’d say to not go. Bi nights are specifically for bi play and many will check your fab profile to see if you are.

Many clubs don’t like MM play so these are the few nights when bi folks can attend and not feel judged or be kicked out.

The VA is close to several other clubs, why not go to one of those?

I think you have to apply for membership anyway for these nights and book in...you can't just turn up, probably not worth it if you're not in the area regularly...

Jaydees is currently closed which is the nearest to VA...

You’d be surprised by number of straight guys at bi nights. Telling you from my own visits to a few clubs on bi nights. Not sure why they go there. Simply not their audience. Most coupes are looking for bi play there, most single ladies there looking for couples or other lady to play with. Could be a good pace for social or making new friends though
