Social media influencers

What the hell !! I was in the gym this morning and some drip of a guy is there with a mini me holding his camera filming him doing some weights

Have you had a experiences of this it’s my first and thoughts are they look like clowns

I’d speak to the duty manager as I’m sure there would be rules against filming inside the gym ESPECIALLY if they film other people even in the background. They would have to ask for a release signature for anyone caught in frame

Other than their own ego, what or who are they "influencing?" Can say I've never ever bought a product just because someone with a few Instagram followers tells me to - manly because they're only telling you to because they've been paid to.

Was thinking the same to be fair, so many reasons people video in the gym, promotion, tracking progress, marketing like you say, it’s pretty bog standard in todays world. Lol

This is the question I often have? Who is their gullible audience? That said, many must have an audience because they are earn $$$.
