I’m travelling to the Middle East soon and have heard that I might need a VPN to view decent websites

It’s only for my mobile phone so has anyone got any experience ?

For a quick solution, yes this is the way. Free ProtonVPN. If you want a much longer term solution then look for the VPN host locations for jurisdictions and logging data.

Depending on cost you have Mullvad, Proton, Surfshark, Nord, PIA (been tested in court for keeping you private).

free vpn only do a basic job to be totally in control get a paid vpn i use express vpn £10 a month and its great i get to watch films /sports from all over the world as well as mask my location for sites like this ....

even better when used with duckduckgo browser

If you're going for like a month or less go for one of the good ones like nordVPN and use a free trial of their better service

But if your going for longer either pay or use protonVPN which is what I use for free

I’ve used express vpn for a couple of years. It is a tenner a month, but in my experience, you can watch anything anywhere. I have it on multiple devices … including fire stick… you can still watch uk programmes abroad.

The only issue I have is sometimes it does drop out … but quickly reconnects.
