Some good examples in the recommended profiles!! Hinkley isn't too far to travel, perhaps we can arrange an interesting shoot at some point. Any suggestions for poses scenes we can do easily at home?

You're never going to get a definitive answer to this. The problem with the examples given is having access to the same kit and skills to be able to get similar shots.

Play about with clothes, props, scenes - frame shots from different angles, have fun and if you happen to get some pics you like stick them up

OK - but some are colour and some are not. Wasn't meant as a dig - but as the full picture for anyone wanting to create similar.

The shower ones they could recreate at home I'm sure.

A few more ideas:

- Boudoire pics - getting dressed for a night out..

- and then getting undressed

- Naughty house cleaning

- High heels and legs in various places - walls, chairs, bed, sofa

- Do a kinky fashion shoot

Props are good.... Erotic and arty are great, just throw some ideas between the two of you and trial and error!!

Experiment with different angles and lighting!!!

For me its not about the quality of the picture, its the originality and creativity. You see many similar poses. On a site like this its very limited really because of the rules around other people in them, objects that can't be used.

I used to love portraits and the glamour type of pics but I've become bored of bodies. Recently I've taken some lovely pics of plants and flowers, yeah I know sounds boring, but I'm really pleased with the detail.

Due to kids hanging round, most of ours are restricted to the bedroom,.but we like to use props.

As soon as it stops raining here in wales, we will venture outside, its about having fun whilst doing them x

Also found a site called deviantART which has some good content if you turn the adult filter off.

Hopefully we'll have some decent pics to put up in the next couple of weeks

Generally you take them in colour, and then convert them. How you do that depends on what software you use - some offer 'effects' which you can play with, others give you options to 'desaturate' or add filters etc.

Also lots of camera apps on phones now offer B&W and other options. I'm sure plenty of others can make suggestions on which work best depending on how you take your photos and what your computer is.

People have written books on B&W conversions !

It's not just about the conversion though, not all colour images will convert to a good looking B&W image, you have to look for good tonal qualities and areas of contrast.

If you've got a DSLR shoot in Raw with the camera set to shoot black and white. The Raw file will be in colour but the image on the back of the camera (or the JPEG, if you shoot in Raw + JPEG) will be in B&W, so you can see what you're working with.

From there, you then have to decide how to do your conversion...I use a PS Plug-in called Nik SilverFX 2 but that's just a preference of mine, other software packages are available

Do yourself a favour though, don't use selective colour, as it's so last century it's untrue...and don't take that one where the knickers are caught in the heel of your shoe !

And anyone that says they get it right in the camera is generally someone that doesn't know how to use PS...I think I've taken one photo in my life that I couldn't improve in post-processing (it might even be on here, I can't remember !)

Just practice and experiment - and have fun!

You might get one good shot out of a hundred - but it's fun either way! And basic editing can make an average shot look great!

I haven't even read the instructions of my camera! Trial and lots of errors!!
