Do you feel your dominance is primarily from the physical or the mental side of things?

Do you feel there is a difference between mental and physical dominance and does one or other elicit greater responses from your sub(s)?

Dom here. For me it all starts with the mental side of things, it’s the connection and trust building that then leads into the physical side of things. Anyone can spank someone or restrain them but I believe there’s an art to domination and it stems from the personal connection you have with your sub.

Very true, and I think there is a wider range of avenues to explore mentally...

But like everything it is a balance between the two! But certainly connection and trust are pre-requisites.

Mental primarily. I'm physically smaller than most people I domme. And it's all consensual. So anything physical (which is fun too!) is purely the result of the mental anyway.
