I disagree... I prefer profiles that give a bit more information about what they are looking for, and shows their personality a bit more.

I find profiles with little/no information more off putting tbh x

Most profiles ask for a polite, reasonable message, to read and understand their profile and maybe send a pic or two. That doesn’t feel like much in return for a fuck.

Unless we’ve been looking at very different profiles

I totally understand I’m very respectful but some profiles are just too much it’s like reading a book 🤔

I find the same but I think that the OP is asking a different question. I think he's asking about profiles who set criteria that are difficult to meet. Like only heavy cummers with a 15 inch cock and their own yacht or something like that.

To that my reply would be that this isn't really about fairness. Men are the glut on fab (and similar sites) and couples and women can be choosy (although maybe not to the level of expecting to find 15 inch yacht owners). You just have to make the best of what you do have. Complaining about the unfairness isn't attractive (to most - people are different and there are always exceptions).

I stand corrected: OP posted while I was writing this and it does seem to be about the length of the profile.

I don't mind it any more or less than other profile "offences" (too long, too short, too crass, too bland, you name it). It's their choice, really: if it puts you off, whatever the reason, just ignore them.

For me: it also depends on how it's done. I can appreciate a profile that clearly states what they want, even if I don't fit the bill. Similarly, if I fit the bill but I find their requests entitled or arrogant, I'm likely to just move on.

My profile meets my needs.

If others think its too long, wordy, conditional they are free to move on.

If it only interests or attracts the odd person, thats ok. I’d rather that and have a better chance of a successful meet .

Does that mean you're annoyed by not being compatible with the person in the profile youre reading?

If it was asking too much but you ticked every box would it still be a put off?

Some people are put off by others getting intouch without even reading their profile. So maybe its working as it's meant to?

My profile is long and has lots of info on it, I use it as a good filter and it works.

If it stops certain people messaging then it's doing its job.

People put effort in their profiles so you can read a bit about them and see if you'd potentially be a match.

There would be a lot less frustration if people at least read profiles, rather than still message and ask questions that are all covered in the profile.

Plus a short message with no effort in both bio or when you message me is a total turn off. Do I meet less because of it? Yes. But are the ones I do worth it. Also yes

I don’t mind profiles politely describing what they want. It’s the profiles with a rudely written list of demands that put me off.

I’ve turned down messages from loads of people that have demands listed on their profile. It’s off putting. I don’t like that kind of negative energy and it indicates that there will probably be drama somewhere down the line.

I find that men’s profiles if they actually have anything written in them tend to be the point about what they want and have to offer.

I find women’s profile if they’re up their own arse coz there is a sea of cocks on here their profiles are long winded, rude and very off putting. DONT DO THIS, DONT DO THAT, PUT SUCKMYTIT IN YOUR MESSAGE TO PROVE YOU READ MY 10 PAGES OF DRIVEL. MUST BE AN EXCEPTIONAL MALE EVEN THO I AM AVERAGE AT BEST.

Went off on a rant there but they really get on my nerves 😂
