No offence intended to anyone before we start but, is it just us that gets instantly turned off by certain phrases . The one that does it for us is when someone says something like

"Love your profile pic mmmmmmmm"

It's obviously not the fact they like the pic it's the mmmmmm that does it.

Anyone else?

Our 2 main issues with messages.

Those that put no effort in to a reply. Replying with a few words....you may as well just say you aren't interested.

And those profiles that ask for a face pic, which we will gladly send. Yet they reply but won't send a pic of themselves as they're a professional couple who need to feel a connection first.

Yeah, always feel a bit cheated if we're asked for a face pic but the other couple don't want to send one

It's always the end of the chat with us. We respected everyone's wishes, but this isn't blind date.

Anyone who uses the word “yous”

Thats the end of the conversation- we will simply not get on.

This. Can't stand the lack of reciprocity.

To be fair they might see that you're "within 10 miles" from your profile, but I take your point that as a combo it's not exactly enticing.

Does that show regardless as we haven't enabled location services or "who's nearby"?

Yeah, I think an approximate distance is shown when you search
