Where do you get the most success out of meets?

We have met a couple in a club and had a great time!

But we start lots of conversations on here with great couples, but the meets never happen. We have some great chats, seem to be on similar wavelengths and we are clear that we would like to meet for maybe a social and see where that takes us.

We can't meet at the drop of a hat (or should that be knickers) so maybe that's why? Or maybe we just need to be more direct, and say right so when are you free etc etc.

And by meets, I don't even mean just with play, either or really!

Just wondering where people find most success ❤️

Clubs by far.

Similar experience and issues; its hard to maintain interest over a period of time, plus scheduling is hard.

At a club its much more transactional.

Having said that, we much prefer arranging meets on here, it simply takes more effort and fails more often than clubs.

Clearly, the draw for on here is there is an element of control in who you chat to or reach out to, clubs are very much luck of ghe draw any given night.

Good to know it's not just us! I think our preference would be to chat here and arrange a social in a club, or anywhere that has good vibes!

But meeting ad-hoc at a club can also be exciting

Clubs, socials, holidays and parties.

Too many timewasters on FAB. Lots of nice people too but it's a trawl to separate the wheat from the chaff.

At least with socials and clubs like minded people are already there.

We used to arrange private meets on fab, but so many now are timewasters, dreamers or get cold feet that we’ve given up. Chats on fab also tend to fizzle out with the difficulty of aligning calendars etc.

Now we will only do first meets in clubs or organised socials so it’s not a wasted night if ‘an emergency’ happens as it so often does!

We’ve generally had better results at clubs, parties or organised socials. People are more open and chatty.

Clubs haven't worked for us.....or upto now they haven't anyway. It's incredibly easy for a club to feel sleezy....which we really don't like. (Mr especially)

We've had some good fab meets, they're incredibly hard to find though.

Clubs all the way for us, but then we (vixen especially) like the anonymity of a club. It's great to socialise with regulars but we have had some amazing evenings with people that we didn't even ask their fab name and they didn't ask ours

Meets outside of clubs can feel a bit pressured for me, I love the not knowing what could happen at a club and knowing that hound and i will have an amazing time wherever happens...

I can only speak for our dynamic and what makes us tick

We've had hundreds of chats on Fab that have turned out to be pointless. Most of them are probably the Male of the couple and their partners have no idea of the chat. But we've had some great fun in club's where people go looking to play. We wouldn't even be on Fab if club's didn't exist.

Interesting to read that most people prefer clubs. For exactly the same reasons as us.

Too many fakes and fantasists on fab whereas going into a busy club is in our experience 100% guaranteed.

A good balance is that we speak to people on fab and at least for the first meet pick a club as the venue. If they turn up and there is a mutual attraction then great.

If they don’t turn up or it’s clear that there is not great attraction then a busy club offers alternatives.

We have wasted so much money on hotel rooms in the past only for people to fail to appear.

Definitely club meets for me! I think the issue is especially with Fab meets is that because women get absolutely bombarded with messages and dick pics from guys us genuine ones sometimes don’t even get a look in because the message either ends up lost or bulk deleted.

Atleast in a club you can have a drink and a bit chat with people and let them see you’re genuine

Clubs for us. We’ve been doing this on/off for 20 years and lost count of how many people bottled visits (no shows) or house visits that have gone sideways.

Clubs offer a neutral safe setting and even if you don’t meet you can have a great time using the facilities. We’ve had a lot more fun in clubs than on meets. But each to their own

I just wondered more if people were feeling the same as us, or we were too boring over chat, haha! But deffo still staying on fab and going to clubs ❤️

Great to see that it's not just us that can find fab goes a bit dry after a while!

Also good shout of doing first meets in a club setting an that if they are a no show, it doesn't matter and there's no pressure!

Jack all happens on fab in my area regardless of if its me or my wife and i's account.

Never used to be this way but ever since lockdown...its just dead and all the active people go to the club.

And I know its not just us. Hear the same thing from others all the time.

best to remember clubs are a tiny part of the scene many swinger dont go near them ... just think how few clubs there really are compared to swingers who play and you then realize how small the club scene really is its not as if they are full either ...

if all swinging couples decided to do a club on the same weekend 99% would not get in ... so private meets private parties are by far the bigger scene

Everyone's got to start somewhere and I can only ever speak from the point of view of a single man; but without easing into things through the club scene to begin with you can't really get to make any contacts to explore things further. Especially as on this site as I'm sure many others, if you're unverified, you won't get included in socials, private parties etc, and for legitimate reasons, most solo women won't meet unverified men either.

But clubs are definitely a mixed bag, I've found unfortunately the better they are the further away they are from where I live to be able to actually participate regularly. Sods law etc

Problem is every so often the site gets mentioned in some tabloid newspaper "SHOCK SEXPOSE" article about how everyone's getting free sex on the internet, then you get influxes of dickhead, mostly blokes. Eventually most of them drift off but not before they frustrate others into leaving or cause other more genuine men to be overlooked just by being annoying, or worse.
