Whilst you you say you have met one here before it is in some ways quite niche that anyone is here looking for that commitment and ultimate connection with someone.

That said it does exist. But to what level only time will tell

A munch is a bdsm social which would not only get you on the scene locally but would also give you the chance to meet someone sub whilst expanding your knowledge from being able to chat to Doms/Dommes who have years of experience.

So I will stand by the advice, get to a munch or swamp and go from there.

Lol my apologies i have never heard of the mentioned terminology.

I met a younger lady who was on here a while ago and after chatting for a while she said how submissive she was and it was her fantasy to be given instructions and tasks to carry out, must say this was a total turn on for both of us and pushed many boundaries.

I am by no means experienced at this but just wanted peoples thoughts.

That’s really rude.

Despite the question being asked of you, you haven’t actually told us what you want - what kind of domination, whether it’s 24/7 or roleplay, what limits and expectations you have. So it sounds like you don’t know much about BDSM and a munch would be a great place for to you learn as well as meet potential friends and partners

You’ve had some great advice.

You admit you’re inexperienced.

For me any D/s starts and ends in the head a long time before it could potentially get to anything physical

I have seen more mental damage caused by inexperienced Dom(mes) and subs than I have physical

Attend the munches. Learn and keep learning. There are some great educational websites.

But more importantly it takes time and huge communication skills

I asked what you meant by cause and relationship, because the way it was phrased raised a few flags.

You'd already been given the munch advice. Which is really the only advice for people who want to be involved in the scene and don't know where to start. And the response to that was outright rude.

Unless your idea of helpful is immediately getting flaps akimbo and awaiting instruction I don't know what you're expecting.

Yea they do

However most male 'doms' expect to meet someone and straight away enter a dom/sub relationship with no intention of getting to know each other and building that trust beforehand.

I think there is a difference between a "sex sub", "a bottom", " a sub" and "property".

The looking starts with knowing yourself, and whether you are looking for a "Dom", Domme" or "submissive" etc. Being able to express precisely what are you looking for in a relationship, and what you can you offer, is key if you want a relationship with experienced people. If a Dominant is looking for someone who is not experienced and or does not know better, some may say that it says something about the Dominant.

Everyone is entitled to their own view. But as an alternative and in my view and experience the mantra that the "mind is key' depends on what the sub requires to submit. For me, the subs I have interacted with want a Dominant that can deliver a particular physical experience, on top of the desired vanilla relationship and both are combined with D/s attributes to the relationship.

However I accept other people have different experiences as different submissives require different kinds of dominance. But I am not fond of many of the mantras that abound in BDSM.
