Couples, question.

We have been playing as a couple since we met 15 years ago.

When we meet new couples or ladies, we have a signal, if we want to take things further with them or not.

But then my wife insists that I make the initial first move?

My question is do other couples have a similar agreement?

We do have a code word if things don't feel right or we don't want things to progress

We have a different set up for that too.

But thank you, does make sense .

Have a code word for stopping play and a code phrase so we can politely shut down conversations with those neither of us are interested in

Does seem to be the way to go when it comes down to it.

Thank you

We also have a code word if we are both comfortable and want to take it to the next level.

We used to put our phone on the table if it was up then yes if it was face down then it was a no and both phones had to be face up for it to go any further.

Then it was normal me that made the move, as it seemed safer for the me then then the other half.

We have a phrase that either one of us can say to let the other one know that its a no.

We know each other so well that we'll know if we'd like things to go further by the way the conversation is going. We also have a simple code to each other for "no thanks".

That's kind of a cool idea with the phones. We like that.

I always thought it would be safer or easier for the female to make the initial first move, but wife prefers if I do it.

We don't do codes it's too easy to miss or misunderstand. If we need to we say we need a five minute private chat otherwise we talk after a coffee social and let the people we met know if we want to meet again .

We don't have a green light code but do have a red light signal, and that's if one of us pulls the other's little finger - pinky pull - which basically means, stop this now, I want to leave.

My hubby usually makes the first move as I’d sit and chat forever if it was left to me!
