Don't push her too hard to start as she may be afraid of heights. I'd start her off on the chute first, then the roundabout and gradually work my way up to the swings.

Get her to sit on it, and gently push her, getting her to use her body weight to increase the momentum of the swing as she gets more and more confident. Before you know it she will be doing the advanced stuff like standing up, jumping off and even trying to go all the way over!!!

"Hi I have freind would love to start swinging but is not sure how can i gently introduce her to the joys "

How do you see your role in this ?

Has she asked you to be a part of her introduction or has she just chatted with you as she knows it is a lifestyle you have chosen ?

Are you going to be part of the package or is she going to be swinging alone ?

Is she more interested in the sex side or the social ?

Is she more interested in meets off line or at clubs ?

There are literally hundreds of variables

The only advice I can give is that you talk openly and frankly about her expectations and desires and what she wants from it.

It is also something that she might like the idea of but the reality of it doesn't meet her ideas or fantasies.

If you are operating as a true 'mentor' you have to consider this eventuality to - and be willing to accept that your lifestyle may not be for her.
