I dont know Why, I never thought it would be like this... but why is it people my ages are soooo! hard to find on this site? Even when you do find someone round about your own age...you send a msg and i never get a reply, but yet older people always reply. IT maybe be what i write in the msg or something.. a mean to me, everyone sounds the same when your just typing on a laptop/computer. 18-25 mainly from Newcastle Get in touch

I cannot be sure but I would hazard a guess that younger single females and couples of a similar age are very much in demand on this site and others like it.

They can pick and choose who they meet and who they engage with the knowledge that someone better will be along soon.

As such, they are more likely to ignore messages from those that do not fit EXACTLY what they are looking for.

Younger guys are not exactly hard to find on here are they ?

OK, so just out of interest, I temporarily changed my age to 21 and did an advanced search of your target demographic in your area.

So, within 20 miles of NE1 in the age group 18-25 who are verified (either by photo or by meeting) and looking to meet someone of your age :

Men looking for women : 245

Women looking for men : 13

Couples looking for men : 5

The numbers do not stack in your favour !

There aren't many on here, as most people our age find people in the real world, on nights out etc. I just use this site for new things that i wouldnt typically get in my typical day to day life eg older women. If you are looking to meet women your own age you will have much better luck going outside, or if you have confidence issues, try a regular internet dating site.

As for the ones on here not replying to you, as others have pointed out, its just an issue of competition, and there isn't too much on your profile to make you stand out. Try getting some pics up for a start.

most guys on here moan that they are told they are to young or that older woman are hard to find, yet this guy finds them 10 a penny and he cant find younger women lol
