I've been on and off here for years, anyone else getting so fed up with so many fake profiles,timewaters, keyboard warriors,but sometimes that's what they need.

Gen folk , want to build body confidence, meet people, break free from 'normal' express how they feel, have a lovely time with others, and just enjoy, and be honest, never hide.

Just my thoughts, be good to hear your thoughts too

Have you tried the swinging section. I think there’s a lot in there that might agree but also that will be the kind of people you’re looking for.

It’s frustrating but not much can be done about fakes. There’s genuine people about. The forums are a good place to find them.

I've honesty never noticed any difference over the years. Those that find the site works for them carry on as usual, and those that don't ask the question.

Society has changed, what is thought of as sex has changed and along with that what people accept as part of swinging has changed.

It used to be that sex took place naturally, with consent and without judgement.....

These day sites such as this resemble amateur porn sites and to my mind are less to do with swinging than they are simple hook up sites.

I hear what you are saying OP, but I’ve responded to similar posts before on this subject.

By us taking time to complain about fakes and time wasters etc etc is that not a win for them. Why waste anymore of our precious time complaining about them as the genuine people are easy to tell apart and it’s just not worth getting hung up about it as frustrating as it may be.

Ignore and move on. I don’t mean to come across flippant but don’t rise to to it.

The genuine people make up for the few idiots so they are ultimately the ones that lose out aren’t they.

I think it’s more a recreational sex site these days particularly as the majority of members are single men or at least purport to be so. I think if it’s designed for Swingers the purist would argue that it should be a couples only membership.

If you want couples only them one could argue that its simply 'wife swapping'?

This site has changed alot over the years.

There are alot more timewasters than there used to be on here. Lots of people that talk a big game but bottle it at the last minute.

We have been relatively lucky with cams and met some amazing people, just sorting out when we can travel to meet them

We use this site as social media now, we've tried to arrange meets through fab before when we first joined 5/6 years ago but have decided that it's probably best to use it to keep in touch with people we meet at clubs, so we know when they'll next be going.

We like to share our pictures and love the chat rooms to go on webcam and have a laugh but we don't use it like a swinger dating site.

We had a few experiences of people cancelling very last minute and more experiences of people being really pushy after the first meet so we stick to clubs which we find a lot more comfortable and always recommend, we don't feel pressured to perform when we go to clubs and we can always walk away if there's no spark without feeling like time wasters.

I first joined about 13 years ago but then it was a swinging site, you could easily arrange meets and they would turn up looking like there profile pictures. It was so much easier back then.

After "C" there have been a huge increase in people that just want to talk about sex, keyboard flirting but have no intentions of every meeting anyone.

Women get loads of messages and out number men easily 100 to 1 so you are telling me that in 3 months you can't find someone to have a meet with let alone a year.

I think people see it in different ways, for some it's a hook up site, for others they enjoy the social scene and clubs etc.

Some do join with unrealistic expectations and are then disappointed ie all the couples looking for unicorns or men who think they'll be knee deep in hours.

I've been on here many years as both a single & half a couple, if my partner and I are looking to make new connections, we use clubs and socials too. Just relying on fab is hard for most people now.

There's always been fakes and fantasists. We've been members of other sites and they are the same.

Those that want to meet, make an effort to meet, will find meets. Those that don't won't.

It's always been the same as far as we can tell. Same shit, different day.

Just take the site for what it is, have fun and don't take it too seriously.

i laught when people say stick to the forum thats were the real swingers are

the forums are a tiny tiny part of fab and a even smaller part of the scene add in 50% to 70% are looking for pics/stories to wank over alot of real swingers are not interested in the forums ....

if you want to swing then you dont put all your eggs in one basket as swinging sites go fab is still king ...the problem with people today is the expect everything to come to them on a plate alot have lost the art of social interactions and without that your going to get nowhere ... too many joined thinking ''sex'' rather than thinking ''swinging''

I think some join expecting a tinder style set up with pretty visuals and an expectation that just because people are on a swinging/sex site, that it's some kind of free for all where there'll always be someone for everyone.

It's not. There won't be. There still needs to be interest, attraction and effort.
