Me and my partner have had our entire 3 year relationship open and never had a problem. If anything it makes us closer and we both like to see others and see each other with others. Why isn't this more widespread as we find it's easier to be honest and surely everyone wouldn't say no to other sexual partners. Could you guys let your partner have sex with others?

An open relationship doesn't suit everyone but it's probably more widespread than you think.

Lots of people on here are happy for their partners to have sex with other people. It's not really a case of letting them.

I forgot to add that I'm happy for my partner to have sex with other people but it's something we would do together. We don't have an open relationship in the sense that we meet other people alone

I think that on a swinging website, when swinging is primarily about sharing your partner with another, you're likely preaching to the converted for the most part.

I enjoy the compersion of seeing someone I adore enjoying themselves. Sex is fun and more of it is almost always a good thing.

But many people aren't wired for non monogamy. They hold sex as something special and exclusive between themselves and the person they adore. And that's okay. We're not more enlightened by them by having different attitudes to it. Just different.

You’re on a swinging site… I’d say you’re going to get skewed answers as many people here are also in open relationships.

I’ve always practiced ENM with my husband but I also respect my mono friends. Their relationships are just as valid

I wouldn't enjoy my partner having sex with others.

And I suspect the majority of the population feel likewise.
