Depends on the day...because what you're talking about are two completely separate things but they are not mutually exclusive.

I enjoy playing with hot wives because of the thrill and kink of the idea and that fulfills the sex side of things which is perfect because all I'm looking for from that situation is sex and knowing she has someone else for the "love" element gives me complete clarity that she won't need that from me which is completely freeing and leaves us both with the ability to enjoy the situation and fantasy without any unfulfilled or unexpected hurdles.

In terms of relationships and a deeper connection, who doesn't love a deep connection with someone else? But it never gets amplified after a meet with a hotwive, I see them as separate parts of my life. But that's just me

There's 2 sides to it in my opinion. The thrill of fucking someone elses wife/gf without being caught is what drives them to do it and also is undeniably hot in the moment.

There's also the safety in knowing that if no repercussions happen as a result of it then it's someone you've found you can trust. Meeting with attached people has a safety to it especially if you yourself are attached. Can't exactly rat them out as you'll rat yourself out in return.

Depending on the relationship to be honest.

I feel quite lonely as a baseline, so unless I have a special connection with that couple, I don't feel extra lonely

It should be noted there appears to be a correlation with age, sexuality, and maybe even nationality. It's only a suspicion and there's probably no actual correlation whatsoever.

The more people we meet, the more apparent it becomes but we obviously need much much more data to effectively draw conclusions. Which is quite difficult, considering the nature of what we're talking about.

It is lonely maybe next step for me is a longer term thing with an older lady. As you said the fun is all good but once it's over she is back with her husband 24/7 you might keep in contact if that's your relationship with them but you're alone with nobody until next time which might not be for a while
