How many do you come across when you ask politely about something, which doesn’t mention anything they are not open to a message on their profile and then get blocked.

Wonder why that’s the case

I'd say arrogance is more believing that you're entitled to a response or that someone else doesn't have the right to block you for any reason or no reason at all

When you are polite and you get a reply saying “yep bro” and then get blocked.

Granted people get 100s of messages a day but if they don’t want them from single males… there is an option for that not to happen.

But also goes back to my point that as they hold the cards they can pick and choose (and quite rightly) but are we at a stage where you have to be rude when the initial message wasn’t being derogatory or rude.

Sounds like you got an answer to your question though. I wouldn't get too wound up over whether a stranger has been rude to you or not

That’s fair. There was another thread on this forum about being blocked for no reason and was just wondering if these experiences are encountered by other people also, assuming more single males than couples

Don’t take it personally, just forget about it and move on.

"Don’t take it personally, just forget about it and move on."

This.

People get irritated by such little things that have no impact on your life whatsoever.

Dump it, forget move on

Hey OP

No one owes you a response, no matter how 'nice' you feel your message may be.

Being blocked in itself is a response that you are not what they are looking for.

It's not arrogant, it's just choices.

I know it may sting a little but honestly just accept and move on like the majority of us do

I'd say on here you're on a winner, you got a reply before the blocking, most people just get a straight blocking, silver linings OP!

Sorry my sausage fingers deleted that. What type of messages get you blocked up?

So you asked a question and they blocked you?

So, you weren't for them and they blocked you. It's easier to block than to go into exchanging messages explaining why you're not for them.

It’s when you send a face pic and then they block you, that’s the kicker lol.

Of course there are arrogant people, but some ask intrusive questions too and I have blocked because of that. That's why I asked you what questions you ask so I can see.

Lol I’d never send a face pic unless they’ve sent it first for this reason exactly

A block on Fab is "I don't want to talk to you"

It is not arrogance. The truth is, we get loads of messages. Some are vulgar, some just one or two words, others just not bothered to read our profile and are either the other side of the country, or completely not what we are looking for. After that there are all the unsolicited friend requests.

People ignore you because you are not what they are looking for and they really don’t have the will to “thanks but no thanks” to everyone. Single guys seem to think it’s easy for couples, but it is not easy at all, we struggle to find the guys we are looking for.

Exactly this! No one owes anyone anything on here. We block people without replying if they are not what we want. We aren't arrogant, just choosy lol.

There will be always be a reason for blocking and that's because, for whatever the reason, the recipient isn't interested in engaging further.

Wait.

Why is it arrogant to filter out the people you decide aren't for you?

This pretty much sums it up.

Whilst we aren't looking for single guys (replace with girls or couples) it is still accurate in our experience
