Hello,

I wanted to share what happened to me so that people are aware. I've only got circumstantial evidence though. It's quite long and convoluted, so bear with me

I come across a profile of lady on Fab (suspected scammer #1), message her, she replies instantly and we get chatting. She sends me a friend invite almost straightaway and asks to see pics & vids of me fucking other. Because she's not a site supporter, she says she can't see my friends only pics & vids (is that true?), and asks to move to Telegram. I send her some stuff and we very quickly agree to meet up the next day (already that should have been a red flag, it's never that easy). Even though we're connected on telegram, she doesn't share her number with me.

Almost as soon as I finish chatting to scammer #1 and arranging the meet, I receive a message on WhatsApp out of the blue from scammer #2 (which may well be the same person as scammer #1, just with a different phone), pretending to have the wrong number. Anyway, we get chatting, she says she was on fab but left because it was too time consuming, blah blah... She only wants to see face pics of me (but is unwilling to send any of hers), she says she loves my eyes, blah blah... She tells me of this "woman" who organises sex parties for her and her lady friends, and eventually gives me her number so that I can contact her directly. She's very pushy and very keen for us to meet soon and often (again, should have been another red flag, this also never happens). We even speak on the phone, all is great, and also agree to meet on a different date.

Come the day to meet scammer #1, I message her during the day to confirm, hear nothing back... Turn up at the agreed time and the agreed place, wait for an hour (during which time I messaged her and tried to call her several times) before giving up and going home for a frustrated wank. When I next check Fab, she has unfriended me and blocked me. I reported her for not turning up.

Next, come the day to meet scammer #2, message her (again) to send me her address... nothing. I message her and try to call her a few more times... nothing. Not having her address, there's not much I can do, other than go home.

Later on, I try adding the phone number of the party lady that scammer #2 gave me as a contact on my phone, and that's when the profile of scammer #1 on telegram updates with that very same phone number, so now I have allegedly two different contacts with the same phone number, meaning that scammer #1 and the so-called party lady are one and the same.

My suspicion is that by putting together the face pics and compromising pics & vids, she/they would try to extract money from me. Fortunately, you can't identify me from any of the pics & vids I sent, so I'm not worried, but I suspect it could have been a lot worse.

All I have is mostly circumstantial so there's not much I can do, but I wanted to make people (men) aware. If it's too good to true, it probably is...

Used to love those random WhatsApp messages from hot women that wanted to meet me and want to show me how to make easy money.

Nothing better than playing along for a few weeks building up trust and gradually getting more information.

Then flip on them and tell them where they are located, their real name and then send them pics from their social media.

Some beg you not post their details and some tell you they are going to kill your family.

No point in reporting it as they just vanish before anything can get done. But at least you have wasted their time

I do not recommend this course of action and any unsolicited emails or phone numbers should be blocked immediately

Yes, and I am always suspicious of people who immediately want to chat by some other means than on here. I would hardly ever let anyone have my telephone number even if we have met.

I keep Fab communication inside of fab, until agreeing a meet, arrange ld via phone updatesm. No confirmationz no meet.

And I don't engage with unknown cold callers off-site ever

Make strict rules and keep to them. And report suspicious profiles

Unfortunately people will part with money.

That's why they keep doing it and as it's all to easy to delete one profile and start another they have plenty to target and get past any blocking.

Always remember.

Where there is doubt there is no doubt.

In hindsight, of course you’re right. However in the heat of the moment, especially if you’re horny, you don’t necessarily think straight.

I think another test to apply is 'would I give this information to a stranger in the street?'

Yet another 'if a younger person asked me if this was wise what would I tell them?'

Well never had a problem on fab

But last year I was lucky to get a very amateur scammer. Girl called me sounding very polite and professional saying she saw some suspicious activity on my bank (that I don't bank with) asked had I been in Glasgow at the weekend as 4 purchases had been made there totaling £600 I said no so she said she would get it refunded.

She asked me to log into my online banking and to download teamviewer. I already had team viewer installed so acted stupid while she talked me through downloading and installing it. I must have frustrated her so much but sent her a remote request from my installed version. She actually accepted it and gave me full control of her computer

She was on her own personal laptop and watched as I opened her Facebook and Google maps and showed her location.

I then tore into her about how it felt to steal money from vulnerable people and said some nasty things and said the police where on their way.

She started crying and said her boyfriend made her do it.

Only scammer I ever got to fall for that

So reading this she wanted you to send videos of you and others. And you sent them.

That’s what you’ve written

So you’ve not only compromised yourself but the safety of others.

Did you have their consent to send videos they are in to random unverified strangers?

A few years ago, there was a "lady" on here who's profile said that she was turned on by cheating married men in powerful jobs (company directors etc).

I wonder how many people she managed to extort?

Trust your instincts. If something feels off it probably is.

Some people don’t want to extort you, they just want to try and ruin your life. As I’ve found out before.

Though for me it wasn’t a scammer just an utterly vile person with a track record of it. Soon as I saw them on here straight on my block list and everyone who had verified that person.
