Has anyone done regular meets with folks far away? If so what distances were involved? How often did you meet? Was it sustainable?

Personally, i prefer local meets its just far easier to maintain and sustain. I get some people are travelling workpersons but what about those who aren't traveling for work but still contact those miles and miles away.

I think it all depends on the dynamic and how much time you can dedicate to that person for a long distance meet. In reality if it’s 100’s of miles I couldn’t see myself seeing that person more than once a month but if it was amazing I’d happily take the time to do the travelling.

yes i was meeting a woman once a month in glasgow and one in coventry.

they even came to me and we often stayed in hotels for the weekend.

was a lovely arrangement at the time and we always had good communication on the phone and text.

35 miles each way .. met regularly once a week or so dependant on work .. it was sustainable (even though only I drove) and was maintained for 5 months until she met someone (vanilla) and got with him
