It's my birthday and I'll play if I want to...

I've booked a week off to enjoy some "me time" for my birthday from Monday 26th August to Sunday 1st September. The idea is to explore the scene and my sexuality a little. I've got a couple of things lined up but anyone know of any decent events or meets that week? Also open to suggestions?
